FINANCIAL INFORMATION <strong>2009</strong><br />
The <strong>Center</strong>’s total public support and revenue <strong>for</strong> work in Fiscal Year<br />
<strong>2009</strong> totaled $13,641,532. This included $9,889,489 in financial<br />
support, which consisted of grants, charitable financial donations,<br />
attorney fee awards and miscellaneous revenue. Of this $9,889,489<br />
in financial support, 53% ($5,226,188) came from private institutional<br />
foundations and 42% ($4,121,053) from individuals, family and<br />
community foundations, bequests and government institutions. The<br />
balance of the <strong>Center</strong>’s financial support of $542,248 was derived<br />
from attorney fee awards, investments and miscellaneous revenue.<br />
In addition, the <strong>Center</strong> received $3,752,043 in donated services,<br />
which consisted primarily of pro-bono legal services.<br />
