Welcome! 

On behalf of the administration and faculty of Seffner Christian Academy, along with 

SCA'S Servants In Action (SIA), we welcome you to Seffner Christian Academy's Fourth 

Annual Silent Auction. We are honored that you have chosen to support us through 

your presence today. 

We would also like to thank the many generous individuals and businesses that have 

made donations toward today's auction. We are fortunate to live in a community with 

such a caring and giving spirit. As you have opportunity to do business with these 

donors, please take an opportunity to thank them for their participation and support 

of SCA. 

As you look around today, you can see that countless hours of planning and 

preparation have gone into this event. It could not have been done without the 

dedication of many willing parent and teacher volunteers. To each and every one of 

you who have worked tirelessly to make today a success, we say "Thank you." Your 

spirit of service has been an encouragement. 

It is a blessing to have a special place like Seffner Christian Academy. It is so much 

more than just a school. It is a family. It is a home. It is a place where our children 

develop both academically and spiritually.

Dear Parents and Friends: 

We want to thank you for attending Seffner Christian Academy's fourth annual auction. Our parents and 

volunteers have worked extremely hard to provide you with numerous items. I would like to thank all those who 

assisted us in any way in our preparation for this exciting event. There are so many people in our wonderful 

school family who have worked tirelessly in making this event take place, and we are so grateful for their 

support and encouragement. 

This is a special year for our school as we commemorate our 25 th Anniversary. God has blessed SCA since 

1983 with continued growth and improvements. Praise God for His blessings on this ministry. 

We hope you have a great time as you observe and bid on the various items. Every dollar that is earned from

The History of Seffner Christian Academy 

Seffner Christian Academy began in the spring of 1983 with a 

daycare. The first summer day camp was that same year with twentyfive 

students. In the fall of 1983 a school was started with ten 

teachers and fifty-eight students from preschool through seventh 

grade. The school administrator was James Osborn and the principal 

was Pastor Roger Duncan, Sr. 

The original colors of SCA were green and gold. They were changed 

to maroon and white to correspond with the verse in Isaiah 1:18 

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your 

sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow: though they be red 

like crimson, they shall be as wool." 

Seffner Christian Academy's mascot has always been the Crusader. 

Today, SCA has over seventy faculty members on staff and close to 

700 students. God has truly blessed us.
