Dr.Ajaya Nand Jha has been Chairman, Institute of Neurosciences at one of India’s best super
specialty hospitals since September 2009.Pror to this, he was Director of Neurosciences at Max
Healthcare. Prior to that he was Sr. Consultant Neurosurgeon at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital,
New Delhi and as Head of Neurosurgery, established the department at PD Hinduja National
Hospital, Mumbai. He graduated from Armed Forces Medical College, University of Poona, India.
His rich and varied experience in his chosen area of specialisation includes exposure at Hope
Hospital, Salford Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, UK, Manchester Royal Infirmary.
His areas of expertise include: Brain Tumour Surgery using pre operative MRI in Brain
Suite, Radio Surgery, Cerebrovascular Surgery, Image Guided Surgery and Frameless Stereotaxy.
