CHARACTERISTICS
Flame-proof contactor switch is an electric mining device
assigned for joining and control of machine drives
in underground mining headings. The EH-KK A5 type
switch is anti-explosion device and can beinstalled in
underground headings of mining factories, methanefree
or methane ones with methane hazard grade: “a”,
“b”, “c” and in headings with “A” & “B” class of coaldust
explosion hazard. Applied electric-power protections
and adopted system of control & co-operation
with technological interlocks using spark-safe circuits
ensure safe co-operation with supplied mining devices
and/or machines.The structure was developed according
to requirements of the 94/9/WE (ATEX) directive.
Certificate of conformity enables application of the
contactor switch inside explosive atmosphere rooms
of the group 1, category M2 (see Dz. U. of 2003, no.
143, item 1393). Possible application of this switch inside
explosive atmosphere rooms and other characteristic
features are included on the data plate.
