one of the great outdoor museums of Turkey. Our days, one can see the extensive ruins including
the The Odeon, State Agora, The Prytaneion, Domitian Square, Hercules Gate, The Fountain of Trajan-one
of the finest monuments in Ephesus, Temple of Hadrian- one of the best preserved and
most beautiful structures on Curetes Street, Celsius Library-was the third largest library with the
capacity of 12,000 scrolls, The Gymnasium, The Grand Theatre-most magnificent structure in Ephesus,The
Arcadian Way..and much more monuments remained preserved till our days, constantly
reminding us the great history of this ancient city. Furthermore Ephesus has been a religious center
of the early Christianity – Apostol Paul and Apostol John stayed and preached in this sacred city!
Some free time for shopping and then drive back to Izmir Port.
NOTE: The Terrace Houses section is located inside of Ancient City of Ephesus and hasextra entrance
fee - 15 USD per person. So called as '' the houses of rich'', the oldest building dates back
into the 1C BC. You will be able to see fine mosaics and frescoes and the famous heating system
thru clay pipes. Inside this section are over 100 steps and glass scaffoldings. Not recommended
for people with physical disabilities. Minimum require time to visit is 30 minutes.

Artemis, known as Diana in ancient world. Drive further to Ephesus. The extensive ruins including

Gate, Curetes Street, The Fountain of Trajan, The Baths of Scholastica, Themple of Hadrian, Celsius
Library , The Gymnasium, Grand Theatre..and much more monuments create the special atmosphere
of Ephesus, charming every traveler. Once a trade center of the ancient world, a religious center of
the early Christianity and today, an unique tourism center proving all its perfects to the visitors
around all the world.We also visit The House of Virgin Mary, the place where she is believed to have
spent her last years. It is recorded that St. John brought Virgin Mary to Ephesus after the death of
Christ and that a small house was built for her on Bulbuldagi Mount. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul
VI visited The House of Virgin Mary and declared one of the pilgrimage center. Some free time for
shopping. Drive back to Port.

plam-lined boulevards and prize-winning marina.Perge was an important city of ancient Pamphylia,
originally settled by the Hittities around 1500 B.C. The Theatre Aspendos is one of
the best preserved of the ancient world, which is still used for performances.
Visit to Kursunlu Waterfall. Drive back to port.

name sign and drive to the southwest, a great enviroment covered with pine forests and nice
beaches to reach Kizkumu Beach, a 600 meters of coastine and walk on the sand bar across the
sea. The most interesting event that you will see here, is that you will see people walking in the
middle of the sea. It is a natural surprise for the visitors. The sandy underwater bottom divides the
gulf into 2 parts and you are able to walk along the sea while the depth doesn't increase as you
walk far away from the shore. Kizkumu has a beautiful legend as well - according to this legend,
the daughter of King Bybassos drown in this water trying to escape from the pirates. Have a short
refreshment break. Continue to Turgut Village to see the authentic village life in Turkey. The village
develops based on apiculture, fishing, agriculture, stockbreeding, carpet industry and tourism.
Peanut is one of the popular production of the villagers.Visit the Mosque of this village. After
lunch break. Stop by a village house to see more detailes about the country life. After a short
break in the garden to have some local refreshments and snacks offered, a visit inside the house
to have a closer look. Drive back to Port.
