<strong>Brazil</strong>’s famous natural wonders, exquisite cuisines, warm weather<br />

Amazon<br />

The Amazon rainforest is the largest in the world and shelters one third of earth’s living species. Crossed by the magnificent Amazon<br />

River, this vast nature reserve is the source of one quarter of the world’s water supply and endless ecological wonders.<br />

Brasilia<br />

<strong>Brazil</strong>’s futuristic capital with its wide avenues and impressive buildings designed by world famous architect Oscar Niemeyer. The city’s<br />

main attractions include the Square of the Three Powers, the cathedral and the Opera House.<br />

Iguazu<br />

The Iguazu Falls, the world’s largest, are centered in a tropical forest, in the area where the borders of <strong>Brazil</strong>, Argentina and Paraguay<br />

meet. This mass of water from three rivers joining together and cascading from great heights, creates a spectacular experience.<br />

Rio de Janeiro<br />

Rio is nestled between the sea and striking mountains, with a magnificent shoreline indented with bays and beautiful beaches. The<br />

city’s 8 million inhabitants known as “Cariocas” are friendly, smiling, sun tanned and carefree people who try to enjoy life to the fullest.<br />

Rio has great nightlife and landmarks include the Sugar Loaf Mountain, a solid rock 1,299 feet high and Corcovado Mountain rising 2,329<br />

feet above the city with the statue of Christ the Redeemer.<br />

Salvador de Bahia<br />

Bahia is the most representative of <strong>Brazil</strong>ian history and culture. There are hundreds of impressive churches in Bahia and museums<br />

housing some of <strong>Brazil</strong>’s best art collections. The beaches in Bahia are among the best in the country and the temperature is mild<br />

throughout the year.<br />

Day 1 - Rio de Janeiro<br />

Arrive into Rio de Janeiro, transfer from the airport to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.<br />

Day 2 - Rio de Janeiro – Paraty<br />

This morning you will be picked up from your hotel and journey along the Green Coast to the<br />

coastal city of Paraty (approx. 4hrs). This afternoon you will have an accompanied walking tour<br />

through Paraty, showing the city’s many attractions. Overnight in Paraty.<br />

Day 3 - Paraty<br />

Today you will take a boat tour across Paraty Bay, with its still-wil beaches and islands. The<br />

clear, clam waters, full of colourful fish invite the visitor for a refreshing swim. This afternoon is<br />

at leisure. Overnight in Paraty.<br />

Day 4 - Paraty – Rio de Janeiro<br />

This morning is at leisure. After lunch, transfer back to your Rio de Janeiro hotel. Overnight Rio<br />

de Janeiro.<br />

Day 5 - Rio de Janeiro<br />

You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.<br />

of the world’s most famous cities: Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, to one of the world’s natural<br />

wonders: the Iguazu Falls. <strong>Brazil</strong> is full of great contrasts and this 7 day round trip gives you just<br />

enough time to get an idea of <strong>Brazil</strong>’s tremendous size and beauty.<br />

Day 01 – Dublin / Rio De Janeiro<br />

Arrival at the airport, transfer to your hotel. After check-in, free time to relax in vicinity of the<br />

hotel and beachfront.<br />

Day 02 – Rio De Janeiro<br />

A fascinating full day tour to the top of the 2 most majestic landmarks of Rio de Janeiro: Sugar<br />

Loaf and Corcovado Mountain. Evening free to explore Rio’s vibrant city centre.<br />

Day 03 – Rio De Janeiro/ Iguazu Falls<br />

Morning transfer to airport for the flight to the Iguazu Falls, and transfer to hotel. Afternoon<br />

visit to the <strong>Brazil</strong>ian side of the Iguazu Falls. In the evening a dinner and musical show that<br />

combines Broadway with folklore and typical dances, demonstrating the exuberant cultural<br />

manifestations of Argentina, <strong>Brazil</strong> and Paraguay.<br />

Day 04 - Iguazu Falls<br />

In the morning, a visit to the Bird Park. The enclosures house more than 900 birds and 150 species.<br />

During the walk in the beautiful Atlantic Fores to see the many spectacular native and exotic bird<br />

species, some of which are endangered. From here, proceed to the Argentinean side of the Iguazu<br />

Falls.<br />

Day 05 - Iguazu Falls<br />

Morning pick-up at hotel to airport for flight to Salvador and transfer to hotel. After lunch, a historic<br />

city tour to see the earliest streets and architectural structures of Bahia.<br />

Day 06 - Salvador<br />

Full day schooner cruise, visiting tropical islands. This tour into the Bay of All Saints and to 2 of<br />

its numerous tropical islands with lush vegetation and pristine beaches. After the schooner drops<br />

anchor on one of the islands visited, the visitor can relax and swim in the warm, clear waters of<br />

one of the island’s most beautiful beaches.<br />

Day 07 - Salvador/ Dublin<br />

Time permitting, morning at leisure in Salvador. Transfer to airport for your return flight to Dublin.<br />
