Teardrop
Weight 85g Length 120mm Depth 1-4m
A great little darting jerkbait that sinks at
approximately one foot per second, the Teardrop is
most effective when counted down and worked
with fast sharp jerks of the rod tip which cause it
to weave and flash its way back in. Ideal depths to
fish this lure in are between one and four metres
of water from early Spring through to late Autumn.
It’s ideal for marginal work, shallow bays and
gradual drop offs when pike are aggressive.
Jtd. Teardrop
Weight 76g Length 130mm Depth 1-3m
This is a slow sinking, jointed crank-come jerkbait,
sinking at approximately one foot every two
seconds. It lends itself well to shallow water or
sub surface work. A simple straight retrieve is all
that is needed to put the lure into action with a
wide sweeping wiggle, or jerk and twitch the lure
to obtain a more irregular action. Great for
working large shallow bays or just under the
water’s surface when pike are actively feeding,
this lure can be cast or slow trolled. A great Spring
through Summer lure with an ideal working depth
of between one and two metres.
Live Wire
Weight 70g Length 185mm Depth 1-3m
The Live Wire is an extremely slow sink rate twitch
bait which is very effective for wary pike or those
repeated followers that almost seem to run out of
water. With a sink rate of only three to four feet per
second, a jointed body and added plastic baitfish
tail, the idea is to eventually fool the pike into a
take. A great fast cast lure when other lure types
have been repeatedly tried. An out and out all year
round lure when repeated follows are being
experienced, but also great in shallow water prespawn
and in high summer.
Belly Up
Weight 76g Length 135mm Depth 1-3m
This is a great little shallow working jerkbait which
works best with short upward and downward taps
of the rod which cause it to work with a tight
zig-zag action. Great when fished in extensive
shallows and over sub-surface weed from Spring
to early Autumn. Pike just love it!
Jointed Dolphin
Weight 85g Length 170mm Depth 1-3m
The jointed version of the already popular Slim
Dolphin, this lure is great when gently twitched or
cranked back in. On a steady crank it gently
wiggles its way in and when twitched it is a good
choice for triggering those persistent followers.
A good lure for the duration of the season and
best worked around one metre below the surface.
Chomper
Weight 23g Length 195mm Depth 1-2m
The Chomper is a floating lure which works down
to a metre or so when worked on an erratic jerk
and tap retrieve. Great for working on pike holed
up in or around weed and cover, this lure is a
brilliant shallow water jerkbait and is an important
addition to the serious lure angler’s tackle box.
Jointed Runt
Weight 86g Length 125mm Depth 1-3m
The Jointed Runt is best worked on a straight
retrieve which sees it wiggle and swim its way
back in a most erratic manner. Besides casting in
shallow water applications, this lure also lends
itself well to slow trolling in slightly deeper water
which makes it a flexible choice predator lure.
A great early Spring through to late Autumn lure.
Runt
Weight 85g Length 120mm Depth 1-3.5m
The Runt needs little introduction as it has already
proved itself as a consistent catcher of pike. A
small, deep profiled jerkbait that darts and flutters
its way back in when worked with short sharp
jerks of the rod tip. Pike just love it. A good choice
for all shallow water applications and especially
effective when worked around weed and
structures during Spring and Summer.
Mini Runt
Weight 26g Length 102mm Depth 1-2.5m
The Mini Runt is the smallest of the Runt lures, but
don't let its size fool you as this is a great little
jerkbait with a lovely tight weaving action that so
often winds pike up big time. The Mini Runt is a
good choice for casting adjacent to cover and
structures, such as weed lines and boulders, in
shallow water where pike so often lie in ambush.
A good Spring through to late Summer lure.
Rooter
Weight 48g Length 190mm* Depth 1-1.5m
The smallest of the Rooter family, this floating
buoyant version is best used in shallow water or
sub surface situations like weed and debris. With
its wooden body, single treble hook and soft plastic
tail, the Rooter can be jerked, trolled or simply
worked on a steady retrieve. A great Spring
through Summer lure, which can be worked just
below the surface or down to 1.5 metres depending
on speed of retrieve.
Jointed Rooter
Weight 88g Length 260mm* Depth 1-2.5m
Larger jointed version of the Rooter which floats
but works slightly deeper at depths of between
one and 2.5 metres. This lure can be trolled or
worked on a steady retrieve, but when jerked and
twitched it has a break back dying minnow action
which is often effective at converting following
pike into takers. A good choice for extensive
shallows and working over the top of deep
submerged weed beds. A good Summer late
Autumn choice lure.
Doodlebug
Weight 82g Length 130mm Depth 1-3m
The Doodlebug is a slow sink lure sinking at
approximately one foot every two seconds which
can be worked with slow taps of the rod tip as a
glidebait, or with fast jerks as a darter. This is a
great little jerkbait ideally suited to spring, summer
and autumn applications, such as post spawn and
adjacent to heavy cover and shallow flats. A metal
horizontal tail fin is also incorporated into the rear
of the lure to help maintain stability during the
retrieve.
Bullnose
Weight 150g Length 205mm Depth 1-4m
A slow sinking count down glide bait that swings
lazily to either side when worked with slow
downward pulls of the rod. This lure works equally
well throughout the year, particularly when worked
on a steady retrieve. With its lovely slow action
this lure has a great pulling power with big
predators.
Big ‘D’
Weight 135g Length 285mm* Depth 2-9m
Here it is, the larger and slightly deeper working
version of its smaller counterpart the Demon. All
the usual features remain the same but the
weighting is slightly heavier, allowing this lure to
be counted down and worked at depths of up to
nine metres. It works best on a steady retrieve.
Demon
Weight 93g Length 250mm* Depth 1-5m
A wooden bodied lure with an enticing soft plastic
tail. The Demon is simple to work as all it requires
is a straight retrieve which can be broken up with
the odd twitch. Hook ups will often occur on the
tail of the lure which is fitted with a 7/0 single
hook to make for easy unhooking. A highly
effective lure every angler should carry in their
armoury!
Raider®
Weight 95g Length 155mm Depth 1-3.5m
A ‘darting jerkbait’ that can be devastating when
worked with either short jerks of the rod to obtain
a rhythmic side to side action or with faster bursts
of the rod tip to produce a more erratic darting
action. The Raider is ideal for targeting aggressive
pike in Spring and Summer time.
Wagtail
Weight 118g Length 180mm Depth 1-4m
The Wagtail is a fairly slow sinker - approximately
one foot every two seconds - and although it can
be twitched, a straight slow crank or even slow
troll is most effective. On a straight retrieve its
hinged wooden tail will wag steadily from side to
side triggering even dormant, hard to tempt
predators. Best times to use this lure are from
Spring right through to early Winter in depths of
between one and four metres of water.
Slim Dolphin
Weight 85g Length 165mm Depth 1-4m
A shad-shaped jerk bait which has a fluttering
action when worked with gentle movements of the
rod. It can also be made to swing from side to side
when worked with sharp, steady, rhythmic
movements of the rod tip in a downward direction.
Great for open water and for working shore lines
and shallow bays.
Mega Mouse
Weight 68g Length 140mm Depth 0-2m
The Mega Mouse is ideal for working around cover
such as lily pads and weed beds and also in
shallow open water. Whether worked on a steady
retrieve or with short jerks, pops or twitches of the
rod tip, the Mega Mouse has great pulling power
and pike just seem to love its erratic wobble and
soft plastic tail. When used with 50lb braid, the
Mega Mouse will run at depths of up to two metres
depending on retrieve speed, which makes it ideal
for Spring through to late Autumn.
Gremlin
Weight 140g Length 165mm Depth 2-8m
A classic fast sinking count down jerk bait making
it ideal for use on big trout waters where depths
can often exceed 30 feet. The angled head assists
in getting the lure down quickly but the Gremlin
has the added advantage of often getting hit on
the drop too. A great all-round choice,
suitable for fishing in the high Summer right
through to the depths of Winter.
Weight 135g Length 175mm Depth 1-4.5m
A subtle slow sinking jerk or retrieve lure and
without doubt its rotating Colorado blade tail is a
trigger factor that pike often can't resist. Sinking at
approximately one foot every three seconds, simply
pop, jerk or twitch the pacemaker slowly over and
around shallow cover areas in short bursts, which
sees the tail blade work in a stop start manner,
spinning and flashing away.
Spearhead
Weight 82g Length 130mm Depth 1-4m
This is a medium sinking jerkbait, falling at
approximately one foot per second. The Spearhead
has a darting erratic action with an in-built rattle
chamber for extra attraction when used in murky
water. Best worked with fast downward taps of the
rod tip, or with gentle rhythmic pulls. Ideal for
depths between two and four metres.
Slayer
Weight 120g Length 175mm Depth 1-3.5m
A fast working, count down, glide come jerkbait.
The Slayer has a slight rolling action during the
glide, when twitched or worked with short
downward jerks of the rod. Great for use around
deep weed, drop offs, or shallow flats on a very
fast retrieve. Superb jerkbait from Spring right
through ‘till late Autumn.
Big Rooter
Weight 113g Length 270mm* Depth 1-5m
The Big Rooter is a straight bodied sinking
version of the Rooter family. Being a count down
lure with a sink rate of approximately 1.5 feet per
second, it can be worked at depths of between
one and five metres, depending on your retrieve
speed. Effective in shallow and deep water alike,
this lure has accounted for numerous pike to over
26lb during field testing.
Weight 62g Length 230mm Depth 1-2.5m
The Slinky Junior is a shallow running, double
jointed, floating crankbait with a seductive serpent
like wiggle that drives predators wild. This is a
great all year round lure suited to open shallows
when cranked or deeper water when trolled.
Stalker®
Weight 50g Length 155mm Depth 1-2.5m
A straight bodied, shad profile, buoyant crank bait.
A slow to medium steady retrieve, gives the
Stalker a highly enticing ‘rolling action’.
Alternatively, try working the Stalker with a short
‘popping’ action, over sub-surface weed beds to
provoke predators lying in ambush.
Waif
Weight 50g Length 185mm Depth 1-2m
The Waif is a slender jointed minnow bait that
lends itself well to either trolling, twitching or
steady cranking. A floating lure with a subtle tail
wiggling action, it imitates a distressed or
swimming bait fish and reaches depths of around
two metres on a fast retrieve and four metres
when trolled.
Weight 52g Length 125mm Depth 1-3m
If you like alphabet style plugs you'll simply love
the Fat Boy; a larger than normal floating plug that
will run at depths of between one and three
metres depending on retrieve speed. Has a lovely
erratic wiggling action making it great for
trolling or casting in depths of between one and
three metres.
Bushtail
Weight 90g Length 230mm Depth 1-3m
The Bushtail is an out-and-out floating crankbait
come twitch lure, with a big bushy bucktail tied to
the rear treble. Simply cast it out and work on a
steady slow retrieve to obtain a gentle tail wiggle,
or throw in the odd twitch mid retrieve to stagger
the action a little. Great throughout Spring and
Autumn, especially for marginal work, shallow
reefs or sub surface situations.
Twitch Stick
Weight 35g Length 180mm Depth 1-1.5m
A shallow working floating minnow bait. This lure
lends itself to being cranked, or twitched and
ripped, just under the surface and will trigger pike
lying in underwater obstructions into attack.
When cranked it has a lovely gentle rolling action
and when twitched the lure takes on the role of
a jerkbait.
Trojan
Weight 70g Length 285mm Depth 2-4m
The Trojan is a hybrid shallow crankbait fitted with
a long soft plastic shad tail for extra pulling power.
Floating on the surface when at rest, the Trojan
has a gentle rolling action when cranked in and
reaches depths of around two metres on a steady
retrieve or three metres plus when trolled. Ideal
when pike are in the upper layers or situated
along gentle drop offs.
Crusader
Weight 65g Length 195mm Depth 2-5m
The Crusader has a superb side-to-side wobble
which draws attention from aggressive pike. Great
for open water and drop offs when trolling. For
shallow water, simply work the Crusader off the
reel on a slow retrieve twitching regularly. Great
all year round lure that’s excellent for trolling
big waters.
Belly Buster
Weight 130g Length 160mm Depth 1-4m
The giant of all alphabet plugs, the Belly Buster
floats and lends itself best of all to cranking and
slow trolling which will see it dive down to
approximately two metres. Its enticing wide rolling
wiggle and two in-built rattle chambers make its
presence well felt and both extremely visible and
audible. Great all year through and the rattles
make it a good coloured water choice in depths of
between one and four metres of water. The dinner
Warrior®
Weight 80g Length 290mm Depth 2-6m
The Warrior has an exaggerated side-to-side
swimming action and can be cast and cranked
down to depths of around three metres. When
trolled, depths of six metres are within reach
dependent on trolling speed and line out. With its
soft plastic forked tail and sloping head, the
Warrior has great vibratory qualities. Ideal for
summer and winter use, especially when
predators are lying deep or close to the bottom.
Delver
Weight 70g Length 180mm Depth 3-8m
The Delver has an erratic head wiggling action due
to the vane being attached to the slopping head.
The Delver is a slow sinking bait when at rest and
has proved to be extremely effective when
stopped mid retrieve and twitched during cranking
to help trigger wary pike into striking! Great for
working drop offs and open water all year round!
