GPS/DGPS receiver performance is the key to acquiring successful position and navigation
solutions. Raven’s new Invicta series of receivers make it easy and affordable. The Invicta
210 is the latest design of Raven’s differential GPS receivers providing realtime sub-1.0 meter
(rms) position solutions.
The Raven Invicta 210 combines a high performance GPS receiver and a dual channel
beacon receiver with superior impulse noise performance. The Invicta operates off the
USCG network of radiobeacons providing FREE DGPS service. Beacon signal selection is
completely automatic or you may manually select the desired beacon signal. Plus it is
compatible with the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS).
A Front panel display provides the user easy access to menu screens for configuring the
receiver and displaying vital satellite and system performance information. Receiver status is
displayed as easy to read messages.
Software is not required to set up the Invicta 210 receiver. Just plug it in and you’re ready to
go. However, PC software is included to provide the user with navigation, position, and data
collection utilities. Software updates are available free via our Internet web site.
Every receiver comes with Raven’s MBA-2 antenna. The MBA-2 is a combination GPS
patch antenna and DGPS radiobeacon loop antenna integrated into a single unit. Magnetic
sensing technology is used to eliminate the grounding requirements typical of beacon
antenna systems.
The MBA-2 antenna mounts on a standard 1”-14 thread. Thread adapters are available for
adapting to survey poles (5/8”-11 thread). Magnetic mounts are also available.
