DIRECTIONS TO THE TRIAL<br />
From the North: South on I-75, east on I-275 (exit #15), Take exit #46, go north on<br />
Rte. 42. Turn left at first traffic light once youíve crossed I-275 (Hauck Road). Go<br />
West on Hauck Road for about 3/4 mile. Right on Tramway Drive, go to end - Queen<br />
City building is at end of cul-de-sac,on your right.<br />
From the South: North on I-75, east on I-275 (exit #15), Take exit #46, go north on US<br />
42. Follow directions above to Hauck Road and Tramway Drive.<br />
From the East or West: From I-275, take exit #46, go north on US 42. Follow<br />
directions above to Hauck Road and Tramway Drive.<br />
Awards<br />
Rosettes and either a small stuffed toy or a dog food sample (value less than $2) will<br />
be awarded to the first through fourth place dogs in each jump height and each class. A<br />
dark green qualifying ribbon will be awarded to all dogs receiving a qualifying score.<br />
A rosette will be given to those finishing an agility title. A MACH bar and rosette will<br />
be awarded to any team completing a MACH title.<br />
Additionally, all boxers placing 1st thru 4th in their class will be given an ABC<br />
medallion.<br />

There will be no contact obstacle familiarization for the Novice classes.<br />
Notice to Exhibitors<br />
The safety of the dog is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors<br />
acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that<br />
their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. Puppies under the<br />
age of 6 months are strictly prohibited from the premises.<br />
No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions<br />
as to its acceptance. Express Mail and deliver service entries must include signature<br />
permitting them to be left at the secretaryís address without recipientís signature.<br />
Errors on entry forms. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry<br />
forms. Whoever shall make such errors, no entry fee will be refunded in event of such<br />
errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Please TYPE or PRINT<br />
CAREFULLY the information on the entry form to minimize errors.<br />
Entries will be acknowledged after entries close with identification numbers and<br />
a Judging program. Should such acknowledgement not be received by the exhibitor<br />
within a reasonable time, please notify the Trial Secretary.<br />
Faxed, telegraphed, telephoned, e-mailed, unsigned entries, or entries not on an<br />
official <strong>AKC</strong> <strong>Agility</strong> entry form (or photocopy) with Agreement and instructions attached<br />
cannot be accepted.<br />
Entry fee will not be refunded in the event that the dog is absent, disqualified<br />
excused, or barred from competition by action of the trial committee. For bitches in<br />
season on the day of the trial, entry fee, less $5 per run, will be refunded upon<br />
adequate proof of such.<br />
No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of<br />
civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any<br />
other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee.<br />
Injured dogs and bitches in season- Entry fee, less $5 per run, will be refunded<br />
upon presentation of a note from a veterinarian stating that the bitch is in season or<br />
the dog is unable to compete due to injury. The Trial Secretary must be notified of<br />
such claim for refund prior to the start of classes or by letter postmarked prior to<br />
<strong>May</strong> 9, <strong>2011</strong>.<br />
New Simplified Jump Height Card Process<br />
When filling out the entry form, there is a new section at the top of the form for<br />
exhibitors to designate whether needs to be measured. . It is no longer required that<br />
you submit a copy of your dogís jump height card with the entry form or show it<br />
during day of show check-in.<br />
It is expressly understood that the exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior<br />
of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and /or children create<br />
unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may<br />
be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund of any entry fees will be made.<br />
<strong>All</strong> dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring or when in the<br />
designated agility warm-up area. Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate<br />
when it is their turn to run.<br />
Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. There will be a $25.00 service<br />
charge for returned checks.<br />

DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER<br />
.This trial is open to all dogs fifteen (15) months of age or older that are registered with the American<br />
Kennel Club or that have <strong>AKC</strong> Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative <strong>List</strong>ing/Indefinite <strong>List</strong>ing<br />
Privileges (PAL/ILP), an <strong>AKC</strong> Canine Partners listing number, or approved Foundation Stock Service<br />
(FSS) breeds are eligible to participate.<br />
Dogs with a Purebred Alternative <strong>List</strong>ing/Indefinite <strong>List</strong>ing Privileges (PAL/ILP) or an <strong>AKC</strong> Canine<br />
Partners listing number must be spayed or neutered in order to compete. Wherever the word ìdogî is<br />
used in these regulations it includes both sexes.<br />
Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind or deaf shall not be eligible, and neither are<br />
bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may<br />
affect the dogís physical or mental performance. No dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in<br />
any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration<br />
and Discipline Rules for the listing of registerable breeds that may participate. Puppies under six<br />
months of age are strictly prohibited from the trial grounds.<br />

Preferred Classes - Available in both standard, jumpers, and FAST classes for any dog<br />
eligible for this trial. Jump heights are 4î lower than the regular classes. <strong>All</strong> dogs entering<br />
Preferred classes for the first time must enter at the Novice level. Dogs may be entered in<br />
either the regular classes or the preferred classes at the same set of trials, but not both.<br />
HEIGHT DIVISIONS<br />
Owners are responsible for entering the proper height divisions.<br />

MOVE-UPS<br />
Dogs may be moved up to a higher class at the request of the owner. For the first day<br />
entered in the trial, this request must be made to the Trial Secretary by 6pm, <strong>Monday</strong>, <strong>May</strong> 2..<br />
Dogs may be moved up on Tuesday, if they received their title at the <strong>Monday</strong> trial, providing<br />
the request is made by the end of competition on <strong>Monday</strong>. Information needed for move-up:<br />
Full name of dog and <strong>AKC</strong> registration numlber, original class and class to be moved into.<br />
Dogs moved up will be entered at end of the running order.<br />
OBSTACLES<br />
Obstacles are as listed in the current ìRegulations For <strong>Agility</strong> <strong>Trials</strong>î from the American<br />
Kennel Club.<br />
TRIAL VENUE<br />
This event will be held in an air conditioned building, on thick rubber matting (with<br />
newly installed soft underpads). There will be one ring, 107í x 75í.<br />

First received opening date: Wednesday, March 9 , 8am. at 502 Blossom Hill Ln, Cincinnati,<br />
OH. No hand delivery accepted for the first 24 hours.<br />
In the event a delivery, in which a numerical limit has been reached, contains entries in<br />
excess of that limit, entries will be selected from that delivery by random draw. A maximum<br />
of 10 entries per envelope is allowed. After April 23, entries cannot be accepted,<br />
cancelled, or altered, except as provided for in Chapter 14, Section 6 of the Dog Show<br />
Rules.<strong>All</strong> the rules and regulations as they appear in the latest ìRegulations for <strong>Agility</strong><br />
<strong>Trials</strong>î shall apply.<br />
Show Site Information<br />
FOOD CONCESSIONS and indoor restrooms are available on site.<br />
Obstacles are as listed in the current edition ofìRegulations For <strong>Agility</strong> <strong>Trials</strong>î from<br />
the American Kennel Club.<br />
There will be no obstacle familiarization for the Novice classes.<br />
Move-up Regulations - Dogs may be moved up to a higher class at the request of the<br />
owner. For move-ups prior to the trial, this request must be made to the Trial Secretary<br />
by 6 p.m., <strong>Monday</strong>, <strong>May</strong> 2. For move-ups on Tuesday, <strong>May</strong> 10, this request must<br />
be made by the end of competition on <strong>Monday</strong>, <strong>May</strong> 9. Information needed for moveup:<br />
Full name of dog, registration number, original class and class to be moved to.<br />
Dogs moved up will be entered at end of the running order.<br />
Note: only mail or email move-ups will be accepted for <strong>Monday</strong>ís trial.<br />
Dogs may be exercised on show site only. Keep our neighbors happy. Dogs are not<br />
allowed in Fossil Park. Please clean up after your dog. Small plastic bags are provided at<br />
the trial site for dog waste pickup. Waste containers are available in designated potty<br />
areas.<br />
There is no overnight parking for campers and motor homes at show site. Camping sites<br />
with restrooms are available at Winton Woods, approximately 5 miles from site. To reserve<br />
campsites (RVís, campers, etc.) call 513-851-2267.<br />

Due to the limited crating space in the building, no crating will be allowed inside the<br />
buiding on <strong>Monday</strong>.<br />
On Tuesday, priority will be given to dogs entered in the trial. Unentered dogs may be<br />
asked to leave the facility if necessary. No puppies under 6 months of age are allowed in<br />
the building. No Ex-Pens will be allowed in building.<br />
Outside<br />
There is ample space on the grass outside the building for erecting canopies for outside<br />
crating. A large tent may be set up on the grass adjacent to the building.<br />

AGREEMENT<br />
II (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem<br />
sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity<br />
to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the <strong>AKC</strong>, the event-giving club,<br />
their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or<br />
lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or<br />
volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any <strong>AKC</strong> approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any<br />
claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by<br />
the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we)<br />
personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the<br />
aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.<br />
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned<br />
parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability<br />
imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at<br />
any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of<br />
damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries,<br />

IINSTRUCTIONS<br />
Handlers may opt to enter in a higher height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division<br />
lower than their proper height division. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the<br />
required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper<br />
height division.<br />
<strong>All</strong> dogs that have not been officially measured for an <strong>Agility</strong> Jump Height Card may still compete;<br />
however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an <strong>Agility</strong> Field Representative, or a Volunteer<br />
Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be<br />
valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility<br />
to have their dog(s) measured prior to running.<br />
Dogs enrolled in the <strong>AKC</strong> Canine Partners SM program may be eligible to enter all-breed <strong>AKC</strong> agility<br />
trials at the club's option effective April 1, 2010. These dogs should be listed as <strong>All</strong> American Dog and<br />
must include their <strong>AKC</strong> number on the entry form and check the <strong>AKC</strong> No. box.<br />
Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not<br />
have your Junior Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) 816-3776.<br />
If the Junior Handler is not the owner of the dog identified on the face of this form, what is the relationship<br />

AGREEMENT<br />
II (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem<br />
sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity<br />
to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the <strong>AKC</strong>, the event-giving club,<br />
their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or<br />
lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or<br />
volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any <strong>AKC</strong> approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any<br />
claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by<br />
the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we)<br />
personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the<br />
aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.<br />
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned<br />
parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability<br />
imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at<br />
any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of<br />
damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries,<br />
death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be<br />
alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or<br />
any other persons. I (WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARIS-<br />
ING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BE-<br />
TWEEN THE <strong>AKC</strong> AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN ITS PRE-<br />
MIUM LIST) AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION<br />
AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE<br />
APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO<br />
ARBITRATION ALL APPLICABLE <strong>AKC</strong> BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES MUST<br />
FIRST BE FOLLOWED AS SET FORTH IN THE <strong>AKC</strong> CHARTER AND BYLAWS, RULES, REGULA-<br />
TIONS, PUBLISHED POLICIES AND GUIDELINES.<br />
IINSTRUCTIONS<br />
Handlers may opt to enter in a higher height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division<br />
lower than their proper height division. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the<br />
required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper<br />
height division.<br />
<strong>All</strong> dogs that have not been officially measured for an <strong>Agility</strong> Jump Height Card may still compete;<br />
however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an <strong>Agility</strong> Field Representative, or a Volunteer<br />
Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be<br />
valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility<br />
to have their dog(s) measured prior to running.<br />
Dogs enrolled in the <strong>AKC</strong> Canine Partners SM program may be eligible to enter all-breed <strong>AKC</strong> agility<br />
trials at the club's option effective April 1, 2010. These dogs should be listed as <strong>All</strong> American Dog and<br />
must include their <strong>AKC</strong> number on the entry form and check the <strong>AKC</strong> No. box.<br />
Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not<br />
have your Junior Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) 816-3776.<br />
If the Junior Handler is not the owner of the dog identified on the face of this form, what is the relationship<br />
of the Junior Handler to the Owner<br />
I CERTIFY that I am the actual owner of the dog, or that I am the duly authorized agent of the actual<br />
owner whose name I have entered above. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree<br />
to abide by the rules and regulations of The American Kennel Club in effect at the time of this event,<br />
and by any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list for this event, and further<br />
agree to be bound by the "Agreement" printed above on this entry form. I (we) certify and represent that<br />
the dog entered is not a hazard to persons or other dogs. This entry is submitted for acceptance on the<br />
foregoing representation and Agreement. I (we) agree to conduct myself (ourselves) in accordance<br />
with all such Rules and Regulations (including all provisions applying to discipline) and to abide by<br />
any decisions made in accord with them.<br />
