Alaska (NP)<br />

An ID with a signature (can be a voter ID card) is required <strong>to</strong> vote. This requirement can be waived if the<br />

election <strong>of</strong>ficial knows the voter. A provisional ballot may be filled as an alternative.<br />

Identification (pho<strong>to</strong> not necessary) is required when registering <strong>to</strong> vote (pho<strong>to</strong>copies accepted). When<br />

voting at the polls, voters are required <strong>to</strong> show either a valid pho<strong>to</strong> ID or two valid IDs without pho<strong>to</strong>s.<br />

Arkansas (NP)<br />

At least a pho<strong>to</strong>copy <strong>of</strong> an ID (pho<strong>to</strong> not necessary) must be included with registration. If a pho<strong>to</strong>copy <strong>of</strong><br />

an ID, driver’s license, state ID, or social security number is not included with registration, voters may<br />

only vote by provisional ballot unless they produce one <strong>of</strong> those forms at the polls. An ID is requested <strong>to</strong><br />

vote on Election Day: voters may still vote by regular ballot if they are unable <strong>to</strong> produce an ID. An<br />

election <strong>of</strong>ficial will indicate that the voter did not show ID.<br />
