materials and walls of sliding glass infuse every room with a feeling of space and light. State of the art technology, quirky 

design features and meticulous attention to detail come as standard. 

Other key elements include the resort’s signature spa, a collection of world-class restaurants, a private screening 

room and outdoor cinema, tennis courts and a series of spectacular infinity pools - all immersed in a cascade of lush 

landscaping and lavender and olive walkways.

by an international team of discreetly attentive staff. The resort’s concierge team are on hand around the clock to meet 

each guest’s requirements – whether arranging an in-room massage, a RIB transfer from Argostoli or a dinner reservation 

in Fiscardo.

In the midst of Grace Kefalonia is a haven 

of tranquillity inspired by the island of Kefalonia. 

A delectable menu of spa rituals bring together a profusion of local ingredients; from organic olive oil produced by the 


hotel’s own olive trees and grapes from Kefalonia’s most renowned vineyard to a myriad of herbs and spices grown in 

and around the resort. 

Just as in classical Greek spa tradition, Grace Kefalonia’s signature spa embraces the rejuvenating power of the ocean. 

Thalassotherapy heads up an impressive array of indulgent treatments and holistic practices to restore, revive and reveal. 

It also benefits from a sports therapy and regeneration hub where programmes of recuperation are sensitively tailored to 

the exact needs of each individual. 

At the end of each spa experience, guests are invited to prolong their self-indulgence by relaxing in a private courtyard

MAXIMISING MYRTOS BEACH

Myrtos beach will play an integral part in the Grace Kefalonia guest experience. 

Accessed by a winding road flanked by tall cliffs and sea caves, the beach is a magnificent natural phenomenon that 

has been a pin up for Greek tourism for decades. Following its cameo role in the film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, it has 


surprisingly been spared from the hoards by its rather elusive location near the village of Divarata. 

Paying meticulous attention to the preservation of the natural environment, the team behind Grace Kefalonia intend to 

expand the existing tourist offering on Myrtos in order to make it the most exclusive beach in Greece. Hotel guests will 

have direct access to a range of facilities including a bohemian beach bar, volley ball courts and a private zone 

where they are free to idle away their time; whether indulging in a picnic delivered directly from the hotel, an Indian head 

massage provided by a therapist from the spa or simply soaking up the sun in one of the zone’s stylish 

individual ‘beach houses.’ 

A floating jetty provides mooring for the hotel’s RIBs that will be available to transfer guests to and from some of the more 

secluded and private beaches and coastline surrounding Myrtos that can only be accessed by water. 

Myrtos offers a picture-perfect setting for beach-chic wedding ceremonies and private photo shoots which can be 

arranged by the hotel’s wedding planner. A calendar of annual events will also be offered including firework displays 

and outdoor music concerts; with a contribution from all ticket sales distributed to local community, environmental and 

marine charities.

Kefalonia is the golden child of the Ionian islands and is fast 

becoming one of the most coveted second-home destinations of 

the Athenian jet-set. Unassuming and void of brash tourism, there 

is something mystical and outworldly about the island. From the 

lush olive and citrus groves dotted with tiny historic hamlets on 

the south west to the epic scale of the wild mountains and cypress 

forests on the Errisos Peninsula in the north; it shimmers with a 

bluish-gold luminescence reflected from the turquoise waters of 

the Ionian Sea. 

The island’s rich history and original beauty have captured the

as the sole location for the film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.) More 

recently, it has caught the attention of a group of British geologists 

and historians who are working on a theory to prove that the Paliki 

peninsula on the western coast is, in fact, the real island of Ithaca 

as described by Homer in The Odyssey.

Based in Patra, Athens and London, Divercity has successfully 

completed a series of award-winning projects throughout Greece. Their 

wide ranging portfolio covers schemes including private residences 

and housing complexes to hotels and commercial spaces. By working 

closely with clients and encouraging close collaboration with surveyors, 

civil and mechanical engineers and specialised subcontractors, the 

team has won numerous architectural awards - with their work regularly 

featuring in exhibitions and architectural reviews both in Greece and 

abroad. 

Divercity is acting as lead architect for Grace Kefalonia. They also 

designed the Grace Santorini and Grace Mykonos hotels.
