The Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel will be
the perfect choice for your Wedding Day.
With flexibility of the Lawrence or
Cawthorne Ballrooms or the more intimate
Rose Room to choose from.
With our dedicated Wedding Co-ordinators
here to ensure that your special
day is just how you dreamed it would be!
Our packages have been designed to minimise
the worry of working out the costs of your Wedding.
However, if you would prefer, we would be
happy to quote for any ideas that you may
have for your special day.
We are pleased to announce that you are able
to perform your Wedding Ceremony in our
Historic Building. This will be conducted
by the Local Official Registrar, contactable
on 01977 722670.
Rose Room
Depending on the size of your Wedding the
Cawthorne & Lawrence Ballrooms each hold
up to 120 guests for a Civil Ceremony followed
by a traditional Wedding Breakfast and 180
evening guests with the availability of extending
to 200 day guests and 300 evening guests.
The Rose Room holds up to 28 guests for
your Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast.
* Please note – Civil Ceremonies booked on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday will incur a
£50.00 Room Hire charge unless it is included in the package offer.

Wedding Fayres at the Manor
We hold two Wedding Fayres and three Wedding Open Days per year and
they are always well attended.
At the Wedding Fayres we have over 70 Exhibitors showing their individual
talents in all areas associated with Weddings that you can imagine.
Our Wedding Open Days are the perfect opportunity to view all our rooms set
as you would expect on your big day. One room will be set as a Full Civil
Ceremony and the other set as a Full Wedding Breakfast Meal. Our Wedding
Co-ordinators will also be on hand to answer all your questions on the day.

Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel offers 22 Bedrooms including
various luxury suites. All of our bedrooms are en-suite and
are all individually and tastefully appointed and decorated
to our own exceptionally high standard.
We offer a Complimentary Wireless Broadband Internet
Service for all guests.
All Bride & Grooms receive a Complimentary Four Poster
Honeymoon Suite inclusive of Full Yorkshire Breakfast.

Check in is from 2pm on the day, if you would like to check
in any earlier then we have an early check-in charge of

*Please Note: A £30.00 non-refundable deposit will be required on all

We do not under any circumstances block book rooms for Wedding Guests.

Wedding Menu’s
Our Managers are a team of highly trained professionals who will be happy to
guide you through the planning of your catering requirements. With many
years experience organising weddings and banquets for large numbers, we will
ensure your day is a special one.
Our packages are designed with total flexibility in mind. Unlike other hotels, we
are happy for you to ‘mix and match’ the packages to enable you to get the
right menu for you.
However, we do ask that you choose only one option for your individual
courses. We even have a section that allows you to ‘create your own menu’.
Please note: All 4 Courses must be taken on a Saturday from May – September.

Wedding Q & A’s
Who Will Announce The Speeches On The Day
Unique to Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel is our Complimentary Master of
Ceremonies. The Master of Ceremonies will greet you on Arrival at the
Hotel and be with you throughout your day. He/She will announce
Speeches and Toasts for you.
Do you allow Fireworks or Chinese Lanterns
Fireworks and Chinese Lanterns are not permitted at the Hotel due to close
proximity of the boundary of the Manor. We are also close to a Farm and
believe it is unfair on any Livestock.
Do You Hold Civil Partnerships
We are delighted to hold Civil Partnerships.
Luxury Suite
When Can My Guests Book Their Bedrooms
Guests can book their bedrooms as soon as your wedding is confirmed. Please
note that bedrooms are on a first come first served basis and require a £30.00
non-refundable booking fee. Balance owed then can be paid on departure.
Do You Allow Live Music
Yes, this is allowed; please remember that a Band etc will impact on your floor
space for your evening reception. All Bands etc need to hold a Public Liability
Insurance Certificate and we will need a copy of this prior to your Wedding Day.
Do You Allow A Chocolate Fountain
We do allow Chocolate Fountains; there are a number of companies that
come to our Wedding Fayres who provide this service.
Do We Have To Register for the Wedding Fayres
No, not at all, just turn up at a time suitable for you.

How Do I Book My Wedding At Rogerthorpe Manor
After browsing through your brochure it is time to book an appointment
with one of our dedicated Wedding Co-ordinators. At your appointment
we will show you all the hotels facilities and answer all your queries!
How Do I Confirm My Booking
We will reserve a date for you for up to two weeks; this is classed as a
Provisional Booking. During this period if you wish to confirm you’re
booking we ask for a £500.00 non-refundable booking fee and a signed
contract. If you wish not to continue with your booking after two weeks
we will cancel your provisional booking. If both function rooms are booked
a £1000.00 non-refundable booking fee is required.

What Happens After My Deposit
We send you a letter confirming the deposit and date booked. Six months
before your Wedding Date you are requested to pay a further £1,000.00.
We will then contact you 8 weeks before your wedding to invite you to go
through your Final Details. From the information given we will then send
you a proforma invoice for the balance of your wedding day, this is to be
paid two weeks prior to the date itself.

What Happens If I Have Any Questions Regarding
My Wedding
We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have, just give
us a call or send us an email and we will respond straight away. We have
two Wedding Coordinators and several members of staff who are wedding
trained so we always have staff on duty who can answer any questions you
may have.
Will The Prices Change If We Book 18 Months
In Advance
The prices in this wedding brochure have been set for 2013 and 2014. We
will review them for any weddings in 2015 and onwards.
How Many People Can Sit On The Top Table
The maximum number of guests on the Top Table is 12 and the maximum
on the round tables is 10. For your evening reception we can seat 12
around round tables.
