JUSTIN MOORE
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2013
One Grandstand Performance at 7:30 pm
Sponsored by: WAXX and Forward Financial Bank
When hit County singer-songwriter and Poyen, Arkansas native, Justin Moore, tells his fans at
all of his shows that he’s “proud to be from small town USA”, it is from the heart. In August
2009, Justin released his self-titled debut album, Justin Moore, on the Valory Music Company
label producing his first #1 hit, “Small Town USA.” Justin’s sophomore album, Outlaws Like
Me, debuted at #1 upon it release nationwide on June 21, 2011 and quickly landed him his
second #1, “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” along with a Top 15 and then his first ever love
song, “Til My Last Day,” became his third #1 in December 2012. 2012 finished on a high
note with both of his albums reaching gold status within a month of each other. Known for
an energetic live show, the Southern stylist has shared the bill with some of Country’s biggest
acts – Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Eric Church among
others. In March 2013, Justin will be embarking on his first headlining tour – Outlaws Like Me –
and will include a preview of new music for an upcoming album due out later this year.
UNCLE KRACKER
THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, 2013
One Grandstand Performance at 7:30 pm
Sponsored by: WIFC
The easy-going ability to take life as it comes has given Detroit-based singer-songwriter
Uncle Kracker, the man actually named Matt Shafer, a place in Country (with the Top 10 hit
“Smile”), Pop (“Drift Away,” which set a Billboard record for most weeks at #1 on any charts),
Rock (“Follow Me,” from the double platinum Double Wide, was a Top 5 hit) and as a D.J./
vocalist in rock/rap icon Kid Rock’s Twisted Brown Trucker Band. Then there was “When the
Sun Goes Down,” the #1 Country hit that sat on top of the charts for six weeks with friend
and sometimes tour mate Kenny Chesney plus the multi-format smash hit “All Summer Long”
which he co-wrote with Kid Rock. In his full-on country Sugar Hill label debut, Midnight
Special, Uncle Kracker’s conversational baritone cuts through the mix to put life in perspective
whether it is the dumped-but-loving-the-future “Nobody’s Sad on a Saturday Night,” the gone
for the weekend “In Between Disasters” or the Tom Petty-feeling small town truth behind what people
reveal “It Is What It Is.” For more information on Uncle Kracker, please visit www.unclekracker.com.
