Chapter 6 Normalization

A bit summary
1. 3NF schemas might have redundancy. There
exists an algorithm that generates 3NF schemas
that are both lossless and dependency preserving.
2. BCNF schemas do not have redundancy if
we only consider the FDs. There also exist
algorithm that generates BCNF schemas that
are lossless but might not be dependency preserving.
3. There are other normal forms, such as 4NF,
which lead to even less redundancy, such as
multi-valued redundancy as we saw that might
exist in BCNF schemas.
