The <strong>EH</strong>-<strong>d31</strong>-<strong>2600</strong>/6,0/3,3/2/<strong>01</strong> (<strong>d31</strong>-<strong>2600</strong>/6,0/3,3/2/<strong>02</strong>)<br />
type transformer station is the anti-explosion version of<br />
the electric supply device which, according to Polish execution<br />
rules of the Geological & Mining Law, may be installed<br />
inside underground excavations of the non-methane<br />
or methane mines with the „a”, „b” or „c” methane<br />
hazard grades or with the „A” or „B” coal-dust explosion<br />
hazard classes. This construction was developed according<br />
to the 94/9/WE (ATEX) directive requirements.<br />
The Conformity Certificate predestinates application of<br />
the station inside the rooms with the Group I, M2 category<br />
explosive atmosphere. The applied electric power<br />
protections and the assumed control system and co-operation,<br />
with the technological blocks using the intrinsically<br />
safe circuits, allow safe cooperation with the devices<br />
supplying mining machines. The transformer station is<br />
suitable for connecting of the optional data transmission<br />
system enabling reading of technical information and its<br />
transfer to the mine-head (e.g. to dispatcher). The data<br />
transmission system enables a/o transfer of information<br />
about current & voltage values or interrupting conditions.<br />
The flame-proof transformer station is equipped also<br />
with the internal data transmission system by which information<br />
about the transformer station sub-assemblies<br />
current working status is sent by the digital bus-bar and<br />
visualized on the display. The display may show the<br />
transformer station working parameters, protections or<br />
relay status and the measured electric values.<br />
The transformer station consists of three basic chambers:<br />
upper voltage chamber equipped with the isolation<br />
switch, over-current protection and connector switching<br />
the main transformer,<br />
transformer chamber inside which the dry transformer<br />
is located,<br />
lower voltage chamber, equipped with the quick earth<br />
switch, control & steering systems, leakage & overcurrent<br />
protections.<br />
The chambers are directly connected one to each other<br />
using the flame-proof flange ports, and their cooperation<br />
ensures proper operation in the transformer station system.<br />
The segmental station structure with division to chambers<br />
and flame-proof compartments, connected one to<br />
each other, ensures:<br />
separation of the whole-mine distribution network<br />
with department’s installations,<br />
supply of receivers inside the mine department’s installations,<br />
protection against short-circuits or over-loads on the<br />
upper and lower voltage sides,<br />
protection against working at the decreased insulation<br />
status on the lower voltage side.<br />
The transformer station may be installed inside rooms<br />
ventilated with the air stream flowing to the exhaust shaft<br />
or inside rooms with a separate ventilation.<br />
The station is suitable for transport using wheels (rails)<br />
or under-slung railway. Loads may be hanged up the railway<br />
using the station’s transport clamps marked in red<br />
color and special shackles which aren’t the standard station<br />
equipment.<br />
