Your SCUBA Diving <strong>Course</strong> - How do I learn<br />
Becoming a diver is simple, safe and fun. A qualified instructor can teach you to dive comfortably and confidently in as<br />
little as three/four days In general an <strong>Open</strong> <strong>Water</strong> <strong>Dive</strong>r course consists of 3 parts: Academics, Pool Training<br />
and <strong>Open</strong> <strong>Water</strong> Sessions.<br />
Academics - The theory, which is simple & interesting, will give you all the information<br />
you will need to dive safely & confidently – Home study - You will complete your study<br />
online (e-learning). Then attend a review sessions at your SSI <strong>Dive</strong> Center “A <strong>Dive</strong><br />
Shop”.<br />
Pool Training - you will learn all the skills you will be using in the open water in the<br />
safety of a pool. After being fitted for your scuba diving gear, you get wet first in a pool<br />
where you perfect your diving skills<br />
<strong>Open</strong> <strong>Water</strong> Sessions - You will complete at least 4 open water dives (<strong>Open</strong> water can be defined as an open<br />
body of water such as a lake or the ocean) and have the chance to experience everything you learned in the pool<br />
hands-on. You will enjoy the amazing sensation of being weightless while exploring the beauty & wonder of the<br />
underwater world.<br />
After successfully completing the Academics, the Pool and <strong>Open</strong> <strong>Water</strong> Sessions you will be<br />
certified as SSI <strong>Open</strong> <strong>Water</strong> <strong>Dive</strong>r - It's your global license to dive!<br />
