<strong>Areas</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Practice</strong><br />

<strong>Carson</strong> <strong>Cooper</strong> focuses his practice in the area <strong>of</strong> construction law. In addition to representing<br />

public and private owners and design firms, <strong>Carson</strong> also represents financial institutions in<br />

construction lien disputes. Additionally, <strong>Carson</strong> is involved in <strong>Lane</strong> <strong>Powell</strong>’s Native American<br />

Affairs <strong>Practice</strong> Group and has experience representing tribes on matters involving Indian gaming<br />

regulatory work, tribal financing and economic development on tribal land. Prior to joining <strong>Lane</strong><br />

<strong>Powell</strong>, <strong>Carson</strong> was involved with the Tribal Economic Development Clinic at UCLA School <strong>of</strong> Law,<br />

and worked with tribes in southern California to develop tax revenue codes and internal regulatory<br />

frameworks for tribal governments.<br />
