Over the last few months, a new Crystal experience has been in the
works. It will take you to new places, open up new possibilities and
be a dream to navigate.
No, it is not a new itinerary or shore excursion, but it is a journey —
one that seamlessly escorts you into the luxurious and exciting world
of Crystal Cruises.

“We felt our website needed a fresh new look,” says Nitsa Lewis,
vice president, marketing. “The current site is a helpful resource;
the updated site will be more experiential and immerse visitors in
the Crystal experience from the very first click.”
Capturing the essence of Crystal — that intangible feeling that
Crystal Society members already treasure and that travelers new to
Crystal will find irresistible — are the elements of good design. Rich
photographs, an inviting layout and elegant type will communicate
that you have arrived at the portal of the World’s Best. Information
will be presented in a compelling new way and be easier to use.
Most anticipated is the new pre-cruise check-in area, where guests
can log on and complete their immigration details, including passport
information, purchase Trip Insurance, schedule airport transfers,
pre-reserve spa and salon appointments, and make reservations
for specialty restaurants, CLI classes and Crystal Adventures shore
excursions. Especially convenient is the ability to register a credit
card for onboard use, saving guests time on embarkation day.
Once complete, guests’ preferences and itinerary will be easy to
view on a personalized calendar.

The changes are scheduled to be implemented in early 2009.
Says Lewis, “The purpose of the redesign is to make the cruise
experience more pleasant, more Crystal. It will allow guests to shape
their voyage day by day, in a very unique and personal way. We’re
excited about the changes, and we think our guests will be, too.”
