bests of 7.65 in 60 meters and 17’-2.25” (5.24 meters) in long jump at EIU
Early Bird, and 25.97 in 200 meters at Terre Haute Double Dual.
2010 – Competed in 60 meters, 200 meters, and long jump … placed
fourth in 60 meters at MVC Indoor Championship with personal best time
of 7.60 … placed fifth in 200 meters at MVC Indoor Championship with
personal best time of 25.14.
2009 – Had second best time on team in 60 meters at 7.83 set at Meyo
Invitational and third best in 200 meters at 26.10 set at Iowa State
Invitational … placed 13th in 60 meters (7.95) and 15th in 200 meters
(26.28) at MVC Indoor Championships.
2008 – Placed 12th in 60 meters (7.82) and 14th in long jump (16-feet-
10.75) at MVC Indoor.
Cross Country –
2011 – Ran 15:30 at the 4K Evansville Mid-America Opener in finishing
seventh overall … best 5K time came at Notre Dame Invitational at 18:58),
placing 51st … ran personal best 6K time of 22:55 at Great Lakes Region
Championship, finishing 121st … placed 34th at Indiana Intercollegiates
(5K-19:08), 38th at MVC Championships (5K-19:12), and 166th at ISU Pre-
Nationals (6K 23-56).
2010 – Placed eighth in the Open Division of the Indiana Intercollegiates
(20:08) … finished 34th in Open Division at Notre Dame Invitational
(19:56) … finished 61st at MVC Championships (19:01) and 134th at
Great Lakes Regional (24:45).
2009 – Finished 29th at Bradley Open (20:55) and 137th at Bradley
Invitational (25:17).
2008 – Competed in Bradley Classic, finishing in 24:32 on the 6K course.

2011 – Did not compete.
2010 – Named All-Conference in 4x100 relay which placed third at MVC
Outdoors with time of 46.04 (sixth best in school history) … placed
seventh in finals of 100 meters at MVC Outdoors with time of 12.30 after
running 12.13 in preliminaries … placed 12th in 200 meters with personal
best time of 24.98 and seventh in long jump with personal best jump of
18’-0.25” at MVC Outdoors … member 4x200 relay that ran 1:41.26 (fifth
best in school history) at Sea Ray Relays and sprint medley team that ran
4:00.46 (sixth best in school history) at Drake Relays.
2009 – Ran personal best 12.06 in the 100 meters and personal best 25.20
in 200 meters at Pacesetter Invitational ... placed eighth in 100 meters
(12.26) and 11th in 200 meters (25.40) at MVC Outdoor Championships.
2008 – Led off 4x100 meter relay team that finished third at MVC Outdoor
Championships (46.82) … was 17th in 100 meters at MVC Outdoors
(12.55) … had personal best 12.03 in 100 meters at Butler Twilight and
26.02 in 200 meters at Cardinal Classic.
Before ISU –
Lettered in track four years at University City High School ... placed second
at 2006 state meet in long jump ... member state champion 4x100 relay
in 2007.
Personal –
Jaquelle Renee Spencer was born on Feb. 18, 1989 in St. Louis, Mo.,
the daughter of Cynthia Head and David Spencer … majoring in Exercise
Science at Indiana State.
Indoor Track & Field –
2011 – Competed in 800 meters and mile … ran personal best 2:20.57 in
800 meters at MVC Indoor Championships, placing 15th … ran personal
best 5:32.29 in mile at EIU Early Bird.
2010 – Competed in 800 meters and mile … ran season best time of
2:24.66 in 800 meters at Wisconsin Badger Elite … ran 5:38.96 in mile at
ISU Open.
2009 – Competed in 800 meters and mile … had a personal best time of
5:38.38 in mile at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Special and a personal
best 2:24.47 in 800 meters at Indiana Relays.
Outdoor Track & Field –
2011 – Ran a personal best 2:17.08 in 800 meters, 4:45.64 in 1,500
meters, 7:33.06 in 2,000 meter steeplechase, and 11:25.76 in 3,000
meter steeplechase … placed 13th in 1,500 meters and 12th in 3,000
meter steeplechase at MVC Championships.
2010 – Competed in 800 and 1,500 meters … ran personal best 2:25.32 in
800 meters at Pacesetter Invitational.
2009 – Competed in 800 meters and 1,500 meters … had personal best
times of 2:26.67 in 800 meters at Pacesetter Invitational and 5:06.71 in
1,500 meters at Big Blue Classic.
Before ISU –
All-State honorable mention in cross country in 2006 … qualified for state
meet freshmen, sophomore and senior year in track … qualified for state
in cross country sophomore and junior years … ran 2:21.40 in 800 meters
at Evansville Regional to qualify for state track meet, finishing 22nd in
2:24.45 … lettered four years in cross country and four years in track …
received MVP award in both track and cross country … member of 4x800
meter relay team that set school record.

Kristy Denise Twitchell was born on March 3, 1989, in Terre Haute, Ind.,
the daughter of Tim and Kathy Twitchell … majoring in Marketing at
Indiana State … brother, James Twitchell, was a member of the Indiana
