In the early time, Rome was the biggest empire the world had seen.<br />

Though, because of political instability, economic problems, etc, Rome<br />

began weakening, and in 476 the western part was obliterated, and the<br />

Eastern part moved elsewhere,<br />

In 330, Constantine moved the Eastern Half of Rome 850 miles to the<br />

east, which became the Byzantine Empire. He moved there, because it<br />

was surrounded by 3 walls with water, and there were some good<br />

trade routes. The Empire BEGINS!!!<br />

Ages in which several Christian kingdoms succeeded in conquering<br />

the Iberian Penisula from the Islamic kingdoms collectively known<br />

The First Crusade<br />

Began<br />

4 nobles led the First Crusade. About 30,000 crusaders fought. The<br />

Crusaders had trouble at Antioch, but after a traitor helped them find a<br />

way through the walls, it fell. Then they laid siege throughout till<br />

Jerusalem. After taking Jerusalem, the victorious crusaders went<br />

home, but not before establishing 4 crusader cities. 2 nd crusade; 1146.<br />

3 rd crusade: 1189.

King John did some questionable things to the empire, including losing<br />

some land, taxing people heavily, and arresting opponents at will.<br />

However, John was forced to make/sign the Magna Carta, which<br />

helped protect the rights of some people<br />

leader<br />

Musa I (c. 1280 - c. 1337), commonly referred to as Mansa Musa, was<br />

the tenth Mansa, which translates as "King of Kings" or "Emperor", of<br />

the wealthy Malian (Mali, Africa) Empire.<br />

When Philip VI of France that the French fiefs of England's King<br />

Edward III were part of his own realm, war started.<br />

In about 1347, Europe was struck with a serious Bubonic plague, we<br />

think that it was spread from Central Asia. THe people at the time<br />

thought it was the Jew's fought. The Bubonic plague then killed about<br />

1/3 of the European population, which will make Feudalism come to an<br />

end soon...<br />

After about 1000 years since the start of the Byzantine Empire it was<br />

conquered by Ottoman Turks.<br />

War has ENDED!!!!!!<br />

The French have finally driven the English out of France. Yay for<br />

French!! Thanks to the heroism of Joan of Arc and many others, the<br />

English have finally been driven back.
