Fishing Features
When we say “Built to Fish” we mean it. Every Albemarle is factory equipped with an
abundance of high-end fishing features usually reserved for much larger sportfishing boats.
Cockpits
The cockpits are designed to be spacious and unobstructed with functionality and easy maintenance a
priority. Integrated non-skid decks provide sure footing and the gunwales are designed at the right height
for safely gaffing or tagging fish. On our 310XF and all larger models, the cockpit features a standard
aluminum backing plate laminated into the deck for the easy addition of a fighting chair or rocket launcher.
Fishboxes
Every Albemarle, including our trailerable models,
features clean transoms with large, integrated,
double hatched fishboxes. For added fishing
performance, the transom fishboxes stop short of
the deck to allow toe space for better balance while
fighting a fish at the transom. In-deck fishboxes are
designed to be removable, allowing for easy clean
up and convenient access to the bilge.
Our cockpits are big enough for a
large crew to get into the action
and still work comfortably.
Rigging Options
Albemarle strives to provide the best in
rigging options for our boats. Deep rounded
livewells keep baits lively and the molded-in
rigging stations can be customized with
freezer systems, sinks, and drink boxes.
Our outriggers come from such notable
manufacturers as Taco ® , Lee ® and Rupp ® .
The hardtops and tower packages come
equipped with side rocket launchers spreader
lights and electronics storage and come
standard with full enclosures. Tackle storage
and drawers are abundant and make gear
stowage simple and easily accessible.
Rod Storage
As a sportfish builder, finding creative and secure places to
store your rods is an important component in the design
of every model. In addition to generous under gunwale
storage, we utilize a number of other areas such as ceiling
rod storage in the V-berths, strategically placed tubing in the
helm deck, ample space under sofas in the cabins, and very
secure, lockable storage under helm seating.
