Enjoying adventures further afield
Chesil Vista is perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area.
On our doorstep is Weymouth with its Georgian seafront, golden sandy
beach and picturesque harbour.
It is also an ideal location for walkers.
There’s direct access to the South West
Coast Path, so you’re on Chesil Beach and
the world famous Jurassic Coast in a matter
of minutes. In addition to the magnificent
coastline on your doorstep, there are also
breathtaking headland walks further afield
which provide some of the most beautiful views
in the UK. Another favourite of ours is the
Rodwell Trail into Weymouth. Simply follow
the path of an old railway line, which takes you
directly from the entrance to the park into town.
As you’d expect from a holiday park

countless angling opportunities
on offer. There are also chances to
go out on sea charters, from two
hour mackerel trips to eight hour
hunts for sea bass!

Places to visit
Many guests at Chesil Vista book their holidays to coincide with local events.
There are baby swans hatching at the Abbotsbury Swannery in May, the Dorset
Seafood Festival in Weymouth in July, the carnival in Weymouth in August and
the Dorset County Show in September, to name but a few. Discounted tickets for
the SeaLife Park and Abbotsbury Swannery are available from reception.

But we also like to make sure that mums and dads are having a great
time too. That’s why we’ve come up with a whole host of fun-packed
activities for all the family to enjoy together.
The Vista Monster Club
Vic the Vista Monster is the main man at the
Vista Monster Club, the heart of all the fun at
Chesil Vista – after all he has been around for
hundreds of years. He can often be found popping
up to surprise the sailors and fishermen in the
Fleet Lagoon. Ever since he first appeared in 1457,
he’s been having fun and games – and this year
is no exception. He might be a Vista Monster,
but there’s nothing scary about Vic! Remember,
“If you want some fun, just wiggle your bum!”
Every day is fun-filled at Chesil Vista. Why not take
a trip to the Venue and join us for a great time in
the Vista Monster Club. The fun revolves around
action packed sessions, all specially designed with
fun in mind! Events range from super cool space
rockets, circus skills or even racing against the
clock in the Family Time Scavenger Hunt. Join in

You can make payments at your convenience throughout the year, so long as the full balance is cleared six weeks before
the holiday commences. If not received the booking will be cancelled. No refund of deposit will be made.
Please notify us if you do not receive confirmation of your booking within ten days. If we are unable to accommodate you,
your deposit and cancellation plan will be returned immediately. Bookings are from 4pm on the day of arrival and holiday
homes are to be vacated by 9.30am on the day of departure.

PAYMENT SECTION
Chesil Vista Holiday Park is a trading name of Waterside Holiday
Group Limited and will hereinafter be called “the Company” and the
Company’s premises will be called “the Park”. “The Hirer” is the person
responsible for making the booking.
Families and couples only – no single-sex parties or unaccompanied
groups of teenagers are accepted.
Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to book holidays.
The Hirer or a member of the Hirer’s party must report to Reception
on arrival to book in. This must be done before a caravan/apartment
can be occupied.
The Hirer and members of the Hirer’s party must accept full
responsibility for their own personal property.
Damage or breakages caused to Company facilities or equipment
must be reported to a member of staff and be paid for.
All accommodation is non-smoking. An additional charge will be made
for extra cleaning if any guest in the Hirer’s party is found to have
smoked in the accommodation.
The Company reserves the right to make an additional charge for
additional cleaning of accommodation that is required as a result of
the Hirer leaving the accommodation in an unacceptable condition.
Cancellation cover
The Hirer of a Company caravan/apartment is responsible for the
full hire charge. In order to remove any anxiety the Hirer may have,
should it become necessary to cancel the holiday, the Company has
introduced a cancellation plan at a nominal charge. This has been
arranged to help the Hirer. To qualify, the Hirer must notify the
Company in writing immediately the circumstances arise, and it is
important that the Hirer receives written acknowledgement from
the Company. The decision of the Company on all claims will be
final. The plan offers the following important benefits:
If the Hirer is forced to cancel prior to the booked holiday because
of redundancy, illness, death, injury or maternity, or illness of any
member of the Hirer’s party, or death or serious injury, or illness to
a close relative, and this can be substantiated and has arisen since
the Hirer made the booking, the Hirer will no longer be liable for
the balance of the hire monies due on the booking.
Provided the Company receives written notice from the Hirer more
than seven days before the holiday is due to start and that the Hirer
is cancelling for one of the reasons given in the previous paragraph,
the Hirer will receive a full refund of the booking payment.
Cancellation fees are non-refundable.

The Bylaws and Conditions and license of the Borough Council
and the Company’s rules must be observed, as must the usual
codes and understandings relating to good caravanning.
Non-swimmers and children must be accompanied by a responsible
adult in the vicinity of the swimming pools, where all displayed rules
and regulations must be observed.
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible
adult in the play areas.
Noise of all kinds (including music and singing) must always be kept
at reasonable levels, and between 11pm and 8am must not be audible
outside the caravan/apartment.
In the interests of all visitors the Company reserves the right to
refuse admission to any person or groups of persons at its discretion.
Maximum length of stay is 28 days.
No commercial or sign-written vehicles permitted.
Boats and personal watercraft are not permitted.

Chesil Vista Holiday Park is situated about
three miles from Weymouth town centre.
From Dorchester, take the A354 to
Weymouth and Portland. Following the
signs to Portland, the Park is situated on
your right just before the causeway.
If approaching on the A353 from the
Wareham direction, follow this road
to Weymouth. Pick up the A354 to
Portland and continue until just before
the causeway. The park entrance is on
your right.
