A university-‐wide awards program, <strong>the</strong> Staff Recogni&on Awards recognize <strong>the</strong><br />
contribu&ons of individual staff members and/or teams of co-‐workers whose work has<br />
had a major impact on <strong>the</strong> university, who have excelled in <strong>the</strong> performance of <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
du&es, promoted team work and inspired excellence in o<strong>the</strong>r members of <strong>the</strong> RIT<br />
community. The purpose of <strong>the</strong> awards is to iden&fy and reward staff for outstanding<br />
contribu&ons to <strong>the</strong> university and to provide staff with an opportunity to recognize and<br />
learn <strong>from</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir co-‐workers.
