Welcome to the 2009 North Texas Pony and Miniature horse sale! I am excited 

about our sale consignments this year and I appreciate the consignors for choosing 

this sale to market their fine small equine. Once again there are some very nice 

riding ponies in the sale along with two nicely broke teams of Shetlands. Show 

prospects are outstanding and some proven broodmares are also being offered. We 

literally do have something for everyone this year (even a stocking legged mule!)

Buyer Information 

Buyers will need to provide photo id, with current address and phone number in 

order to get a bidders number. Buyers (bidders) will need a number in order to 

bid. Bidder numbers will be issued in the SALE OFFICE, the day of the sale. 

Payment will be accepted in the form of cash, check, VISA or Mastercard or Discover. 

A 4% buyers premium will be charged on purchases. The buyers premium 

will be waived (not charged) for purchases made with cash or check. “Hot” checks 

will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law! 

Buyers will need their receipt showing that they have paid for their ponies/miniatures 

before ponies/miniatures will be released for loading. 

Sale stock will be available for viewing Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday. 

It is highly recommended that you examine stock BEFORE they enter the sale 

ring. The sellers will be there to answer your questions about their animals. Once 

the final bid is accepted on an animal, said animal becomes the full responsibility 

of the buyer!

Announcements made from the auctioneer stand will take precedence over printed 

material in the catalog, so listen carefully and if you have a question please ask! 

Broodmares selling as “exposed” or “believed to be in foal” means they are selling 

bred but have not been vet checked in foal. Also, many bred mares selling will not 

come with a live foal guarantee. ANY guarantees of any sort will between the 

buyer and seller and cannot be enforced by the North Texas Pony Sale.

number of RV hook-ups are available. Restrooms and concession stand on the 

grounds.

taught youngsters to ride and walked endless miles at parties. He is a must have for any 

young child that needs a safe reliable pony.

pony to show and enjoy. He loves being around people and enjoys showing and being

National futurity supreme halter horse. His sire was the 2005 AMHR National Champion

party surroundings--popping balloons, large dogs, etc. Very nicely made mare that would 

show well in the ASPC driving ring and also a great addition to any broodmare herd. She is 

selling open.
