To carry out account development and business activities to maximise sales of CNET<br />

Direct’s products to <strong>UK</strong> and international customers, in accordance with agreed<br />

business plans.<br />

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:<br />

Identify client needs and review their marketing requirements in order to sell tailored marketing solutions<br />

Cold call and build relationships with marketing decision makers at our tier 1 and 2 clients and their<br />

agencies<br />

Construct and present tailored presentations/proposals to clients based on their marketing objectives<br />

Manage existing accounts and expand CNET Directs client base by setting up meetings and calling<br />

marketing decision-makers and agencies<br />

Develop at least three key accounts<br />

Build sales pipeline in line with sales targets<br />

Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets agreed with the Sales Manager<br />

Report on closed sales and work on repeat business<br />

Work with operations team to design and manage integrated marketing campaigns including email, online,<br />

TM, interactive media and other tactics<br />

Provide excellent client service and post campaign reporting<br />

Have a deep knowledge of the <strong>UK</strong> IT market and competitive environment<br />

Liaise with international sales teams to grow international business opportunities<br />

Manage some inbound sales requests to grow business opportunities<br />

Any such duties as may be required consistent with the <strong>job</strong>holders knowledge, skills and abilities<br />

Key Performance Indicators:<br />

Performance against monthly and quarterly revenue targets<br />

Volume of quality proposals, meetings, call reports<br />

Size and quality of sales pipeline<br />

Growth of marketing contacts database<br />

Relationships with direct client and agency contact<br />

Relationships with operations team and other business units<br />

Experience/Skills:<br />

Graduate in marketing or business related degree or equivalent experience.<br />

Proven successful B2B sales experience.<br />

Sales / marketing training DIPADA, AIDA, or equivalent.


Previous experience in marketing/direct marketing, media, agency environment a plus.<br />

Strong Microsoft Office skills<br />

Understanding of IT& T market a benefit<br />
