Note:
For Joint Accounts, both account holders’ signatures are required.
For Partnership, Joint Stock Companies, Clubs, Societies &
Associations, Foreign Mission / Diplomats, consent from all
stakeholders on the letterhead is required and Company Account
Board Resolution is required along with consent from all signatories
on the company’s letter head.

Terms & Conditions for UBL e-statement
I/We hereby authorize United Bank Limited to activate my UBL e-statement option, whereby I/We
will receive my statements into my/our email account as per the frequency indicated by me/us.
I/We also unconditionally authorize the bank to discontinue my/our regular statement of account
via post/courier and start the free UBL e-statement facility as per the frequency indicated. If I/We
wish to receive both statements i.e. by post and e-mail, charges as per prevailing schedule of
charges will be applied. Also, in consideration of the Bank providing the services, I/We fully
acknowledge, understand and accept the following:
1. If you are not the named addressee, you should not disseminate, distribute or copy the
e-mail. If you are not the intended recipient, you are notified that disclosing, copying,
distributing, or taking any action in reliance on the contents of the information is strictly
prohibited. Any unauthorized reproduction of the message may result in legal and disciplinary
action.
2. United Bank Ltd. shall not be liable for improper or incomplete or delayed transmission of
the message or its attachments. United Bank Ltd. will not accept liability for any errors or
omissions in the contents of the message or its attachments, which arise as a result of e-mail
transmission.
3. United Bank Ltd. does not guarantee that the integrity of the e-mail has been maintained or
that the communication will be free of viruses, interceptions, or interference. Although
United Bank Ltd. will take reasonable precautions to ensure that no viruses will be present
in the e-mail, United Bank Ltd. cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage arising
from the use of the e-mail or its attachments.
4. The customer hereby unconditionally agrees to accept and receive the e-statement via
e-mail and verifies and confirms that the designated e-mail address is correct. Any error or
exception noted in the e-statement shall be reported to the bank within 14 calendar days on
receipt of UBL e-statement otherwise the same shall be deemed as correct and acceptable
by you.
5. The customer shall advise the Bank in writing, in case of any change in e-mail address or
discontinuation of UBL e-statement is required. In the absence of such advice, the Bank
holds no responsibility of non-receipt of UBL e-statement by the account holder. Moreover,
the customer agrees and accepts that the UBL e-statement shall continue to be delivered to
the designated account until and unless the Bank actually receives in writing the change in
email address or discontinuation of UBL e-statements.
6. The Bank shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting to the account holder
on account of any delay, inaccurate or incorrect transmission or unauthorized access to the
UBL e-statement services.
7. The Bank reserves the right to make necessary changes as and when required in these Terms
and Conditions, such changes will be displayed at the website or advised by e-mail notification.
8. Charges if both UBL e-statement and statement by post are selected, will be collected biannually
from liability customers and monthly from loan accounts.
I/We hereby agree with the terms and conditions, which I/We have read,
understood and confirm that the information supplied above is correct to the
best of my/our knowledge.
