Support for Employers<br />
Employers need to be able to find out what support is available to<br />
enable them to recruit, manage, retain and train people who have<br />
mental health difficulties.<br />
• Mindful Employer is a voluntary charter for employers positive<br />
about mental health. Using the Mindful Employer logo demonstrates<br />
commitment to support employees with mental health conditions:<br />

• Mental Health First Aid is a national mental health awareness<br />
training programme targeted at workplace settings:<br />

• An occupational health advice line for small businesses is being<br />
piloted in order to help employers understand more about<br />
reasonable adjustments and support for mental health conditions:<br />

• The Department for Work and Pensions will be transferring its<br />
information on disability to the Business Link website to support this<br />
becoming a national self-help ‘hub’ of action-focused information for<br />
