RULES FOR VISITORS OF LAKE<br />

VEHICLES<br />

• Operation or parking of vehicles<br />

off/roadways is prohibitd.<br />

CAMPING<br />

• All camping permits are to be obtained<br />

at the entrance gate as soon as a<br />

campsite has been selected and the<br />

camping unit placed on the site.<br />

• Check-out time is 4:00 pm. Camping<br />

permits must be renewed at or before<br />

check-out time.<br />

• No extensions will be given on Prime<br />

sites (50 amp Electric/Concrete Pad).<br />

• After the 14 or 28 day limit the camper<br />

must vacate the park but may relocate<br />

to a different park/lake. The camper may<br />

return after 2 days.<br />

SANITATION<br />

• Campsites must be free of litter at all<br />

times. Dumpsters are provided for<br />

trash.<br />

SAFETY<br />

• Children 12 years and younger are<br />

required to wear a life jacket while<br />

boating.<br />

Welcome to Pat Mayse Lake and Pat Mayse<br />

West Recreation Area! As a visitor to your lake<br />

you are asked to follow certain rules designed<br />

to protect the natural environment, ensure<br />

health and safety of visitors and to promote<br />

a pleasant outdoor experience for all.<br />

• Use of Senior/Golden Age and<br />

Access/Golden Access Pass requires<br />

the person to whom the card is issued<br />

to occupy the campsite.<br />

• Misuse of the Senior/Golden Age or<br />

Access card will not be tolerated. All<br />

violators will be referred to the U.S.<br />

Magistrate.<br />

• Camping beyond the 14 day limit<br />

without written approval from a Park<br />

Ranger is prohibited.<br />

• An extension not to exceed an additonal<br />

14 days may be approved. After 28 days<br />

the campsite must be vacated.<br />

• No extensions will be given on Summer<br />

Holiday weekends.<br />

• The discharge of gray water onto the<br />

ground is prohibited.<br />

PETS AND ANIMALS<br />

• Pets must be leashed at all times.<br />

• Pets are prohibited in designated<br />

swimming areas.<br />

QUIET HOURS<br />

• Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. until 6<br />

a.m.<br />

• Entrance gate is locked at 10 p.m. No<br />

vehicles will be allowed to enter the<br />

park during quiet hours, you may leave<br />

at any time.<br />

All visitors to Corps of Engineers lakes<br />

are subject to Title 36, Code of Federal<br />

Regulations. Some of the most frequently<br />

violated rules and regulations are listed in this<br />

brochure for your information. A complete copy<br />

of Title 36 is available from the Park Attendant<br />

or a Park Ranger.<br />
