Reading
Your child will need to read daily. They can read their Library book,
books from the class Library or books they have at home. Please
ensure that your child reads the selected book or a few chapters of the
book.
After they have read you can ask them some questions, such as what
they liked, were they surprised by anything, which character did they
liked or dislike and why.
If your child has difficulty reading the book please, please help them to
sound out the words or use the pictures to try and guess the words.
Encourage them to choose an easier book next time.
At the end of each week in the Home Learning Diary, your child will
need to write down which books they have read in the reading log.
