The Beerline B Apartments are located in an urban residential area in
close proximity to Downtown Milwaukee. Part of a large redevelopment
project, the Beerline B Apartments were designed to offer affordable and
attractive housing for recent college graduates and families with young
children. The complex consists of three buildings, two of which offer
great river view apartments, as well as common lounge areas and Internet
Cafés. The third building houses a community center that residents can
reserve for personal use. Since the developer received affordable housing
credits, a large portion of the apartments can be leased at below-market
rents to people who qualify.

This has been ideal for giving young adults an opportunity
to live in an affordable urban community with all the
benefits the area has to offer. However, this also
presented the interior designer with a unique challenge to
find design-driven, and durable seating that will work in the
common areas that is cost effective and will stand up to
the test of time as these areas will experience heavy use.

Interior Design and specifications at the Beerline B
Apartments was provided by IMA, Gaylynn and Paul
Weaver, who turned to Dauphin, a leading provider of
consultative furniture solutions for Dynamic Spaces. Here
they found several innovative furnishings which enable
people to thrive and connect in this unique environment.
They specified 4+, Citi Club, Aleta and Aspetta for the
lounge areas and Froggy at different heights for seating
at the tables, counters and bar. All of these furnishings
complement each other and are available with a multitude
of options to meet the needs of any environment. They
are very attractive in styling and well constructed to
accommodate changing needs.
Today the Beerline B Apartments are a vibrant part of
the neighborhood and allows residents to work, relax, or
meet. Through design driven furnishings by Dauphin, the
environment has become a dynamic space that enables
residents to connect and interact with each other and the
neighborhood at large. The young generation of apartment
dwellers now living in Beerline B are a sure sign that this
redevelopment was a success, one which brings vitality
and support of local commerce to this area.
