All get must be examined <strong>and</strong> gaited. The Stud <strong>Dog</strong><br />

<strong>and</strong> Brood Bitch must also be examined to determine if<br />

there is a condition that would require disqualification<br />

or excusal under the <strong>Rules</strong>, AKC policy or the breed<br />

st<strong>and</strong>ard.<br />

[P] Each entry is allowed two get unless otherwise<br />

specified by the show-giving club. All get must be<br />

entered in a regular class in order to be eligible to<br />

compete in the Stud <strong>Dog</strong> <strong>and</strong> Brood Bitch Classes.<br />

H<strong>and</strong>lers of the Stud <strong>Dog</strong> or Brood Bitch, <strong>and</strong> all get<br />

being exhibited, must wear armb<strong>and</strong>s.<br />

Brace <strong>and</strong> Team Competition The quality of the<br />

dogs, their similarity <strong>and</strong> their ability to be shown<br />

together are of primary consideration. An examination<br />

of each dog is necessary to determine quality,<br />

similarity, <strong>and</strong> if there is a condition that would require<br />

disqualification or excusal under the <strong>Rules</strong>, AKC policy<br />

or the breed st<strong>and</strong>ard.<br />

All braces <strong>and</strong> teams must be moved to determine<br />

their ability to show together. Although dogs need not<br />

be identical, the final determination should be based<br />

on their overall similarity <strong>and</strong> uni<strong>for</strong>mity st<strong>and</strong>ing<br />

<strong>and</strong> moving.<br />
