Welcome to Telford Copper and Stainless Cylinders
Telford Copper Cylinders is a family run business which began trading in 1989 from the
premises it still occupies today. The original factory has been extended on a number of
occasions since then to keep up with the increased demand for its products.
From the beginning Telford set out to manufacture a broad range of cylinders. Our copper
division has developed from manufacturing traditional vented cylinders to now include
commercial calorifiers and the award winning advanced Thermal Store units, which are available
as manual fill, “Washing Machine”, solar recovery and under-floor heating variants.
In 2002, responding rapidly to changing market expectations we began to manufacture our
popular Tempest and Tornado unvented cylinders in stainless steel, all of our domestic unvented
cylinders are now formed from Duplex 2304 Stainless Steel, continuing our philosophy of
using only the finest materials. We are so confident of the construction that we offer a lifetime
guarantee* on the Tornado and Tempest models.
Our vented, unvented and thermal store cylinders have been developed to maximise the
benefits of free solar energy and proven environmentally friendly alternative sources.
As the market for plumbing and water storage cylinders has changed Telford Copper Cylinders
have adapted to ensure we are always at the cutting edge of technology, making new products
without compromising our first principal of quality. We also have a commitment to offer a
