watercolor on ivory, c. 1840, depicting a bust-length<br />

oval portrait of <strong>the</strong> child wearing a light blue dress with<br />

white lace trim on <strong>the</strong> neckline, a coral necklace, and<br />

holding a bouquet of flowers, 2 1/8 x 1 3/4 in., housed<br />

in a period oval molded wood frame. Condition: Paint<br />

losses on flowers and dress.<br />

edge), 2 3/8 x 2 in., housed in a brass frame with oval<br />

aperture on <strong>the</strong> reverse with a plait of hair; <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r<br />

depicting a gentleman holding a book, (crack on right<br />

side, window on reverse cracked), 1 3/4 x 1 1/2 in.,<br />

housed in a brass pendant and hinged locket with<br />

empty oval window on <strong>the</strong> reverse.<br />
