SUB 800 A<br />
The desire to extend low-frequency sound reproduction of<br />
existing full-range systems with as little effort as possible is<br />
often heard. The most efficient way to accomplish this task<br />
is to include the active subwoofer SUB 800 A. The SUB<br />
800 A gets its audio signal feed from the PowerMate<br />
stereo sum-breaks and, by employing the integrated stereo<br />
PowerMax x-over, splits the signal into Hi and Lo components.<br />
The two Lo-signals are summed up to form a<br />
monaural signal that is reproduced from the SUB 800 A.<br />
The Hi-band audio signals are send back to the Power<br />
Mate to be amplified by the PowerMate’s integrated<br />
power amps.<br />
The CORUS 3 system therefore represents an active 2-way<br />
system offering exceptional sound quality in a truly<br />
compact configuration that is suitable for small to<br />
medium-size applications.<br />
