About us - <strong>DAM</strong> Ústí nad Labem s. r. o.<br />
Our company was established on 21st June 1993 with metalworking as its scope of<br />
activity. In the years to come, based on supply and demand we expanded our scope<br />
of activity to locksmith works and steel-structure manufacture. Today, the company<br />
employs 64 employees.<br />
The company operates in two units. The first unit, machining and locksmith shop operates<br />
in PZ Tonaso a.s. Neštěmice premises.<br />
The second unit is located in TOS Varnsdorf,<br />
a.s. premises where we are engaged in<br />
welding of steel structures. Here, our<br />
employees participate in development<br />
of new machines manufactured by TOS<br />
Varnsdorf, a.s. and help in innovation of<br />
the existing machines – horizontal boring<br />
machines.<br />

work up to the diameter of machining -<br />
1250 mm and length 4000 mm. Work using<br />
horizontal boring machines - standard<br />
design, TOSTEC PRIMA series CNC horizontal<br />

and rotary grinding. We outsource heat<br />

Welding<br />
Welding is carried out on the shop floor<br />
with an area of 3600 m 2 , equipped with<br />
four cranes, each with a lifting capacity of<br />
8000 kg. The entrance gate is 4 m wide<br />
and 4.2 m high.<br />
We also provide welding of sections over<br />
20 t, we are able to process approx. 100 t<br />
of material a month - common structural<br />
steel (S235, S355).<br />
Our Liebherr 100 t mobile crane can be<br />
used for loading of heavier pieces.<br />
Used welding methods: submerged-arc<br />
welding, MAG.<br />
We provide outsourced annealing, in<br />
a large car-type furnace, including a report<br />
- depending on customer demand.<br />
We also provide outsourced weld tests,<br />
depending on customer demand.<br />
We outsource varnishing of parts,<br />

Welding<br />
The project of Robotized welding workplace<br />
was developed for the branch plant in Varnsdorf<br />
within the modernization of the company and<br />
increase of the competitiveness in the market.<br />
This workplace is equipped with a top Japanese<br />
robot OTC Daihen with taxiway with 20 m and<br />
a controlled positioning device of the tonnage<br />
of more than 20,000 kg.<br />
This robotized workstation is equipped with a<br />
controlled positioning device with the function<br />
of a rotary manipulator which allows us to rotate<br />
any number of workstations with the possibility<br />
to use the positioning device and also the<br />
possibility of clamping on the desks for clamp<br />
jigs. The welding blowpipe of robot is equipped<br />
with a 3D laser search sensor for accurate<br />
location of start-point and of weld position.<br />
The workstation was put into operation in early<br />
2011. Thanks to its design and size belongs to<br />
the largest workplaces in the Czech Republic<br />
and Central Europe.<br />
