herb Fixler is having a six-month revolving exhibition of work featuring<br />

all new black and white and color imagery captured in 2009 & 2010 at the<br />

Manhattan Athletic Club Gallery (entrance on 48th Street between Park<br />

and Lexington Aves. opposite the Inter-continental Hotel). See the<br />

October 10–November 15<br />

ross Lowell invites you to view two dozen banners of nature photography,<br />

artist’s opening Sunday October 10 from 2-4 pm. The 30 square images are<br />

suspended from stately trees along a serpentine trail in the “Forest of<br />

Possibilities” at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Routes 121 and 35 in Cross<br />

Susan may tell will be lecturing at the B & H Event Space located on the<br />

2nd floor, 420 9th Avenue, NYC. She will share work from her exhibitions<br />

(Constructed Moments; A Requiem: Tribute to the Spiritual Space at Auschwitz;<br />

and Real/Unreal: Urban Landscapes of the 1980s), recent projects, and<br />

discuss her personal work and anecdotes about her friendships with Andre<br />

rebecca Lepkoff’s New York City street photographs are included in<br />

Cheryl Dunn’s film Everybody Street, presented at the Alfred Sieglitz:<br />

New York show at the Seaport Museum, 12 Fulton Street, NYC. Rebecca<br />

is renowned for her Lower East Side street images taken in the 1930’s.<br />

November 5–January 8<br />

E. Peter Schroeder is having an exhibition at the Leica Gallery, of his Paul<br />

Newman photographs taken when Paul first appeared on Broadway.<br />

The plays’ were Picnic (1953), Desperate Hours (1956) and Baby Want a Kiss<br />

(1964). Also included are photographs taken in Greenwich Village; Lower<br />

Fifth Avenue; Hollis, Queens; and the Jersey Shore. PAI members are invited<br />

to the private opening Thursday, November 4, from 7 to 9 pm. Leica<br />
