Instructions for the teacher<br />
This game should be played in small groups. Photocopy<br />
the 28 pictures from the opposite page and the 28<br />
sentences cards below, so that there is one set of pictures<br />
and sentences for each group. Before you hand out the<br />
cards, make sure that each set has been shuffled. The<br />
students must work together to put the pictures in the<br />
correct sequence and then put the correct sentence card<br />
with each picture.<br />

Take away the sentences, leaving just the cartoon sequence. The<br />
students have to remember the phrasal verbs that go with each<br />
picture. (For more advanced groups, ask the students to repeat<br />
whole sentences.) One student from each group is allowed to look<br />
at the sentences. He I she can tell the other students whether their<br />
guesses are correct or incorrect, but must not give clues. The<br />
winning group is the first to repeat the story (or phrasal verb<br />
sequence) correctly without the sentence cards.<br />
