The TUUM-6 is a fully Digital UnderWater Communication System (DUWCS) designed for modern platforms
and refit as well.
Compliant with NATO STANAG 1074 recommendations, the TUUM-6 offers, upon request, a wide variety of
communication capabilities including:
• Long range Low Probably Intercept (LPI) data transmission,
• High data rate transmission,
• Communication with divers.
It is also designed to be linked with an external modem for client modulations.
It integrates a high power amplifier which can be used with directive and omnidirectional transducers (up to 12).
The TUUM-6 includes a multi purpose Fast Ethernet and RS232 links for:
• Remote control,
• Connection to Internal Communication System (ICS),
• Integration in the sonar suite,
• Collecting navigation data through NMEA standard.
