Call: 2007
Amy practises in all areas of employment, commercial and public law. She was featured as a ‘Star’ of
the junior Bar in Chambers and Partners 2013, and is described in the directories as a “real star” who is
“dazzling everyone in sight”, “phenomenally bright”, “fantastically hardworking”, “extremely astute”, an
“exceptional drafter” and “wise beyond her level of call”. Amy has appeared as sole counsel in the
employment tribunal, EAT and High Court, and has been led in high profile cases in the High Court,
Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. She is ranked as a Band 4 junior in employment law and an Up
and Coming public law junior. Amy is a member of the Attorney General’s C Panel.
RECENT CASES
Employment and commercial law:
Amy is frequently instructed in conspiracy, team poaching and restrictive covenant disputes, in claims
experience in complex litigation, including multi-jurisdictional disputes. Amy also appears regularly in the
employment tribunal, particularly in unfair dismissal, whistle-blowing and discrimination claims.
withheld fund units, raising novel issues as to the application of the penalty doctrine to
contingent future interests such as unvested share and fund unit awards, and as to the scope of
the duty of fidelity when senior employees leave established businesses to join a start-up.
