Our service<br />

Continuity is vitally important when dealing with trusts and therefore each trust is allocated a dedicated<br />

manager who will be responsible for all <strong>as</strong>pects of the trust management service.<br />

In all c<strong>as</strong>es, a principal of <strong>Withers</strong> LLP will oversee the work of the individual manager and provide legal<br />

and professional support to the trustees.<br />

Trust managers are carefully matched with each trust to derive the full benefits of their experience and<br />

charging rates.<br />

Through continuing investment in modern computer systems, combined with a personal and practical<br />

understanding of the needs of trustees and beneficiaries, each trust manager is readily in touch on a<br />

daily b<strong>as</strong>is with those trusts for which they are responsible and is able to provide any information needed<br />

promptly and efficiently.<br />

To <strong>as</strong>sist trustees in complying with current legislation and regulation, including the Trustee Act 2000,<br />

the trust management group will draw on the legal support of <strong>Withers</strong> LLP to ensure that appropriate<br />

policy statements are put in place.<br />

Fees<br />

Fees are b<strong>as</strong>ed either on a set scale or on hourly rates and will vary depending on the seniority and<br />

experience of the manager involved. The selection of the appropriate manager is agreed with the client<br />

prior to the appointment of <strong>Withers</strong> LLP to undertake the trust management.<br />

The scale of fees in force from 6 April 2002 is 0.5% pa for a life interest trust and 0.7% pa for other types,<br />

b<strong>as</strong>ed on the value of the trust at 5 April at the commencement of the accounting year in question,<br />

subject to a minimum fee of £500 pa.<br />

VAT will be added to the above fees <strong>as</strong> appropriate.<br />

Terms and conditions<br />

The firm’s terms and conditions of business in force from time to time will apply and <strong>Withers</strong> LLP reserves<br />

the right to charge additional fees for any matters arising which do not occur in the normal course of<br />

business.<br />
