Plan now to be on hand Saturday, April 11, 2009, for the <strong>Buford</strong> <strong>Ranches</strong> Inaugural <strong>Angus</strong> Female Sale featuring the first<br />
registered <strong>Angus</strong> females ever offered at auction for <strong>Buford</strong> <strong>Ranches</strong>. This registered herd was established in 1993 by<br />
John T.L. Jones, Jr. and carried forward by the <strong>Buford</strong> family with manager Mike Horrell. Built on an original foundation<br />
of Sitz, Stevenson and Basin females, the herd is backed by generations of leading sires and has been culled extensively<br />
for generations. This impressive sale offering was selected from the top of 1,200 registered females who serve as the<br />
cornerstone of the base herd of another 7,000 commercial cows. These are functional cattle that will work and function in<br />
cow/calf ranching environments.<br />
