The use of water based printing inks to replace current solvent based systems is
growing rapidly and reflecting the general increase in environmental awareness. In
addition high quality pigment preparations are allowing for the minimisation of the
waste water during production. Overall the use of pigment preparations streamlines
the entire manufacturing cycle, reduces the need for complex raw material stocks and
significantly improves the ability of companies to respond quickly to their customers
in a quality and price conscious market.

MICROSPERSE PLUS
MICROSPERSE PLUS Pigment Preparation is a highly sophisticated dispersion line for
demanding anilox printing requirements. These dispersions can be used to produce
higher strength inks with low viscosity fulfilling the demands of higher screen anilox
rolls with lower anilox volumes.
MICROSPERSE PLUS aqueous dispersions are designed to provide the ultimate pigment
loading, excellent shock stability, transparency and gloss for high quality water based
inks to an economical price.

SUMMARY OF BENEFITS
> HEUCOSPERSE and MICROSPERSE PLUS Pigment Preparations are solvent
free low viscosity dispersions of organic pigments in a solution of styrene
acrylic co-polymer. The pH range is adjusted to lie between 8.0 and 9.0.
> Pigmentation and resin levels have been carefully chosen to provide the
best possible balance between stability, gloss, viscosity and compatibility.
> High pigment loadings provide high stinting strength dispersions with a
low viscosity profile.
> Since the pigment is already optimally dispersed, the need for cost
intensive pre-dispersion and milling processes is eliminated.
> Color consistency problems are also minimised through the use of
HEUCOSPERSE and MICROSPERSE PLUS dispersions as each batch is
subjected to strict colourmetric control.
