Iridium OpenPort from Stratos is a new voice and
data service based on the world’s first truly global,
high-speed network specifically engineered for the
maritime market. Iridium OpenPort delivers more
bandwidth at a better price than current alternatives.
Affordable Equipment
The small and lightweight omni-directional antenna
can be installed in a convenient location and is
virtually maintenance free since it does not require a
stabilization platform. Installation is quick and easy.

High-speed Data
A single ethernet port can connect to a single PC or
to a router or hub. Configurable data rates up to 128
kbps are available. Engineered for simultaneous
functionality, data and phone ports support high
volume usage.
Three Separate Phone Lines
The below-decks unit contains three RJ11 jacks that
enable users to make up to three simultaneous calls
while also transmitting data. This set up ensures that
crew calls are easily separated from calls related to
ship business and it also works in conjunction with
Stratos ChatCard.

Iridium OpenPort from Stratos also comes standard
with a pedestal and mounting kit, power supply, 20
meter connection cable, auxiliary handset and user
and installation manuals.
Flexible Airtime Packages
Iridium OpenPort from Stratos offers IP connectivity
with packages that range from 9.6-128 kbps. The
9.6 kbps does not require any commitment for
included MB’s but faster packages require
commitments that vary from 10 MB to 150 MB per
month. Customers can also choose to include 100,
200 or 300 minutes of voice calling with their
package at very competitive per minute rates for
calls to Iridium and to PSTN.

Iridium OpenPort from Stratos also comes with
access AmosConnect which is the maritime
standard for messaging, providing up to 85% data
