Years ago, Strike King® set out to design the best poppin’, chuggin’, spittin’ topwater
lure possible. We interviewed our Pro Fishing Team and they wanted a lure that
would “spit” and “spray” more than those available on the market. They, and others,
complained about spending long periods of time modifying the models then available.
Strike King’s Spit-N-King is exactly what they wanted. The specially designed front
end is horizontally oriented and cut to maximize “spit” and “spray” during the retrieve.
This better imitates a fleeing baitfish. Almost any kind of movement makes the bait work
properly. Simply give the lure a twitch or a short-to-medium length, smooth, yet fairly
quick, sweep to make it work unlike anything you’ve tried right out of the package.
