You can upload your video to Screen Chop's Site where you are given a URL to share your movie. A simple doodling board, markers, and one ‐click sharing tools make spreading your ideas and know‐how easy and fun. There are many ways to use Screen Chomp, for example use it for informal assessments. Teachers can ask students to "Teach Me" or "Show Me" a skill that they are working on. Great way for students to explain "HOW" or "WHY”. ScreenChomp records your touchscreen interacons and audio so you can send helpful tutoring videos home with students, allow kids to create videos that help their classmates, explain complexies from afar, record your most recent brilliant idea or share doodles with friends and family. The Diocese of Orlando announces an updated Social Communicaons Policy that encompasses the many and diverse aspects of communicaons and seeks to fulfill the Holy Father’s request that “the new communicaons technologies must be placed at the service of the integral good of the individual and of the whole of humanity” (Pope Benedict XVI’s World Communicaons Day Message 2011). Social Communicaons is a term used by the Vacan when referring to problems and opportunies raised by the cinema, radio, television, the daily and periodical press, and digital media in relaon to the interests of the Catholic religion. Diocese of Orlando Develops New App for Year of Faith The Diocese of Orlando has created a new app called “Sharing my Faith.” The app includes videos of people talking candidly about their Catholic faith, why it’s important to them, how they live their faith and what they hope to do differently during the Year of Faith. The app includes informaon and resources about the Year of Faith, which begins October 11. The Year of Faith is a special me designated by Pope Benedict XVI for Catholics to become renewed in their faith. The Year of Faith coincides with the 50 th anniversary of Vacan II. Catholics are invited to submit their own video for the app. They are asked to create a 1 to 2 minute video speaking to the camera and discussing how they share the joy of their faith, what are the challenges to living their faith and how do they overcome them.
