<strong>AMERSA</strong>, founded in 1976, is a multidisciplinary organization of health care professionals<br />

dedicated to improving education in <strong>the</strong> care of individuals with substance abuse problems.<br />

We cordially invite you to connect with a diverse group of health professionals from around <strong>the</strong> country when<br />

you exhibit at <strong>AMERSA</strong>’s 36th Annual National Conference. Your exhibit provides an excellent opportunity to<br />

present information on your organization <strong>and</strong> develop new contacts. Conference participants will visit <strong>the</strong> displays<br />

throughout <strong>the</strong> day <strong>and</strong> during <strong>the</strong> welcome reception, poster session, continental breakfasts, <strong>and</strong> morning <strong>and</strong><br />

afternoon breaks. If you are interested in exhibiting, please complete <strong>the</strong> application form <strong>and</strong> return it along<br />

with your payment by July 31st. Tabletop exhibits are on a first-come, first serve basis. Fees must be paid in advance<br />

<strong>and</strong> are nonrefundable.<br />

Exhibit Schedule<br />

Set-up: Thursday, November 1, before 9:00 am<br />

Opening: Thursday, November 1, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm<br />

Friday, November 2, 8:00 am -5:00 pm<br />

Saturday, November 3, 8:00 am - 12:00 noon<br />

Dismantle: Saturday, November 3 after 12 noon<br />

Security Requirements:<br />

Nei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>AMERSA</strong> nor <strong>the</strong> Doubletree Hotel will assume liability for loss of merch<strong>and</strong>ise or damage to exhibitor’s<br />

property. The exhibitor assumes <strong>the</strong> entire responsibility <strong>and</strong> liability for losses, damages, <strong>and</strong> claims arising out<br />

of injury or damage to exhibitors’ displays, equipment, <strong>and</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r property brought on <strong>the</strong> premises of <strong>the</strong> hotel<br />

<strong>and</strong> shall indemnify <strong>and</strong> hold harmless <strong>AMERSA</strong>, <strong>the</strong> DoubleTree Hotel, <strong>the</strong>ir agents, servants, <strong>and</strong> employees from<br />

any <strong>and</strong> all such losses, damages, <strong>and</strong> claims.<br />

Exhibit Benefits<br />

Tabletop Exhibit: One 6’ x 30’’ skirted table, two chairs, <strong>and</strong> one wastebasket is provided for each tabletop<br />

exhibit. Additional equipment such as electricity, internet, etc. is available at an additional cost, <strong>and</strong> should be<br />

negotiated with <strong>the</strong> hotel audiovisual services provider in advance of <strong>the</strong> conference. Expenses for additional<br />

needs will be <strong>the</strong> responsibility of <strong>the</strong> exhibitor. Each tabletop exhibit entitles <strong>the</strong> exhibiting company to ONE<br />

complimentary registration per exhibitor, which includes attendance at educational sessions <strong>and</strong> luncheons,<br />

along with a listing in <strong>the</strong> program booklet<br />

Resource Table: An opportunity to display your materials on a display table in <strong>the</strong> registration area. This can<br />

include books, magazines, conference announcements or any o<strong>the</strong>r free materials. Materials will be displayed at<br />

<strong>the</strong> start of <strong>the</strong> conference <strong>and</strong> replenished as needed. Additionally, you will be listed in <strong>the</strong> program booklet.<br />

Cancellation Policy<br />

• <strong>Exhibitor</strong>s withdrawing or cancelling an application on or before August 1, 2012 will forfeit 25% of <strong>the</strong> total cost paid.<br />

• <strong>Exhibitor</strong>s cancelling after August 1, 2012, but on or before September 30, 2012, will forfeit 50% of <strong>the</strong> total cost paid.<br />

• <strong>Exhibitor</strong>s cancelling after September 30, 2012, will forfeit 100% of <strong>the</strong> total cost paid.<br />
