In making this enrolment, I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. AGE POLICY FOR BEGINNER COURSES - Yamaha Music
Education Courses are specifically designed for specific age groups. The
recommended age for beginner courses is:
Music Wonderland Course 3 ½ at the commencement of the course
Junior Music Course
4 ½ at the commencement of the course
Young Musicians’ Course 6 ½ at the commencement of the course
2. RE - ENROLMENT - Re-enrolment from Semester 1 to Semester 2 is
automatic each year. For re-enrolment for the following academic year, with
a Semester 1 commencing in January, students must re-enrol to confirm
their place. Re-enrolment is NOT automatic. Failure to re-enrol will result
in the cancellation of your place in the class. Music Wonderland Course
re-enrolment procedure is term by term. You may choose to re-enrol after
discussion with your teacher in class towards the end of a current term.
3. CLASSES - A parent is required to attend lessons with their child for
Music Wonderland and Junior Music Course. Yamaha recommends a
parent to attend lessons with their child for the Young Musicians’ Course
and encourages parental guidance for all other group courses.
Siblings are not permitted in the classroom as they may prove to be a
distraction to the other students.

4. PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR TUITION FEES - Payment in full is required
at the beginning of the semester; however you can also choose the
following payment option:

Family Discount: A discount of 10% off the total tuition of the subsequent
children is given for families with 2 or more enrolled students.
Note: Discount is only applicable to brothers and sisters.

Tuition fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable if you change
your mind.
5. FEES/MISSED LESSONS/PRE-ARRANGED ABSENCES
Missed Group Lessons:
Teacher will make homework assignments available via e-mail or post to
parents and students for missed group lessons. No credits will be given to
individual missed lessons.
Cancelled Group Lessons:
Where a group lesson has been cancelled, we will either re-schedule your
class or credit your account accordingly. Please refer to the table below.

Pre-arranged Absences (4 – 8 weeks)
You must notify your Regional Coordinator (via phone or email) for absences
between 4 and 8 weeks. Notifying your teacher is not acceptable. Your
account will be adjusted in accordance with the account adjustment table.
Your teacher will discuss with you the best method to complete homework
and stay in touch with what the class is doing during your absence.
Pre-arranged Absences (Greater than 8 weeks)
Absences of more than 8 weeks will be deemed a withdrawal (see
withdrawal policy). Prior to returning to class an assessment will need to be
made to ascertain which class will be suitable.
In order to communicate information efficiently please be advised that
Yamaha will use SMS and email in circumstances such as teacher illness
resulting in a class cancellation. This will help to inform parents quickly of
changes to their schedule causing as little disruption as possible
6. WITHDRAWAL/DISCONTINUATION POLICY - Your Regional
Coordinator must be contacted either by phone or email. Notifying your
teacher is not acceptable. Refer to the table below for the tuition fees that
are payable, tuition fees paid in advance will be refunded.

7. STUDENT INSTRUMENT PURCHASE OFFER
Purchase a new Yamaha instrument from an authorised Yamaha dealer and
receive a credit voucher towards Yamaha group lessons.
The offer is available to new students enrolled into or existing students enrolling
into a Yamaha Music Education group course. To be eligible to receive the
credit voucher towards tuition fees the parent/guardian of the student must
provide a photocopy of the sales invoice for the purchased instrument, which
must include the purchase date and first name and surname of the parent/
guardian paying the student tuition fees. The credit voucher will be issued in the
parent/guardian name and include the nominated student name and can only
be applied to that student. The credit voucher can be redeemed against the
cost of future tuition by Yamaha Music Education but must be redeemed within
12 months of the purchase date of the instrument.
The photocopy of the sales invoice needs to reach Yamaha Music Education
before semester starts in the relevant state to the Yamaha Music School you
are attending in order for the credit to be applied to the tuition fees for that
semester. Semester start dates are available online at yamahamusicschool.
com.au/calendar. Only one credit voucher can be applied to a student’s tuition
fee within a 12 month period. This offer is not available in conjunction with any
other discount offer or special (excluding the sibling discount) offered by Yamaha
Music Australia including the PSRE-433 keyboard promotion. Vouchers cannot
be applied to the enrolment deposit and no refunds are given on enrolment
deposits. Yamaha Music Australia is not responsible for stock availability at
participating dealers. This offer is not valid for Music Wonderland Courses.
This offer is valid for purchases made only from 1st December 2012. Vouchers
can only be used towards Yamaha Music Education group course tuition fees
and cannot be redeemed for cash. This offer is only valid for Yamaha Music
Education group courses held in Yamaha Music Schools in NSW, VIC and QLD.
Only sales invoices for the full price paid for the instrument will be accepted.
Purchase orders or deposit receipts will not be eligible for the credit voucher.
Only instruments published in this offer will qualify for a credit towards music
tuition with Yamaha Music Education. Yamaha Music Australia reserves the
right for this offer to be withdrawn at any time.
