“Sweet Inspirations” Kid’s Bake-
Shoppe Camp (Grades 1-3)
Love to bake or want to learn Students will learn
to accurately measure, mix, bake and decorate a
delicious assortment of bake-shoppe specialties.
Your team may win the “Cupcake Wars”! Take home
your favorite treat and celebrate the summer with
delicious recipes. A “scrumptious” way to spend
part of your day!

Biz-Art for Kids (Grades 4-6)
Kids tackle the art of business with hands-on
activities, games and experiential learning of basic
concepts including money, entrepreneurship and
business. At week’s end, campers will showcase
their business concepts in an artful way!

Agriculture Exploration (Grades 7-9)
This camp is conducted with the cooperation
and support of the Woodbridge FFA Chapter.
Campers will engage in a variety of hands-on
activities related to Animal Science, Plant Science,
Food Science and Biotechnology. Explore the
growing Agriculture “field” and its endless career
opportunities.

Soccer (Grades 1-3)
Kick and score your way to fun! Campers will
learn the rules of the game and basic skills
in a fun and age appropriate setting. Wear

Dribble, shoot, score! Campers will learn the
rules of the game and basic skills in a fun and age
appropriate setting. Both defensive and offensive
plays will be taught. Wear comfortable clothes
and sneakers.

Students will explore making “cents” of numbers
around them, becoming familiar with calculating
money, elapsed time, mapping features, calendars,
measurement and calculators during fun,
interactive activities.

Every day filled with hands-on experiments
to make learning fun! From making music to
chemical reactions, this camp will keep your little
scientist guessing and having fun!

Number Brainpower (Grades 4-6)
Students will navigate numbers and features
in mapping around the world, time zones,
measurements and mileage. Camp will include
fun, interactive activities on a Smartboard.

Mythbusters Science (Grades 4-6)
Join us for a week of experimentations as we
use science to determine the truth behind some
myths and mysteries. Students will research, use
the scientific method, and test their theories as
we bust or confirm myths!

American Girl–Just Like Me (Grades 1-3)
Do you love to learn and be creative Let’s take
a look at how American Girl chooses each girl of
the year and what makes them unique. You will
investigate who you are and what makes you
special during this week-long camp and celebrate
your discoveries with an end of the week tea party.

Musical Theatre Camp (Grades 4-6)
Children will be encouraged to participate
in solo, duet, trio, small group and ensemble
production pieces. Instructor will provide some
props and students will be given hand out sheets
of lyrics and study guide materials. Students
will also learn production staging, blocking and
stage transitional movements and learn a more
comprehensive cohesion of producing a final
performance. We will create some sets, stage
props and accessories from their own resources.

Social Skills Training: Creating Well-
Rounded Youth (Grades 7-9)
This camp focuses on developing social,
emotional and problem-solving skills through
group training, team building, decision making,
problem solving, anger management and
recreational and academic-related role play
lessons and activities. Open discussions will
expose participants to real world issues and
situations, so that they may build personal and
individual connections between themselves
and others, as well as within the community and
society as a whole.

iPad Camp
Children will have fun with engaging,
interactive, age-appropriate apps on the iPad.
They will develop their creativity through
digital photography, art and music. They will
learn through playing educational games and
collaborating on multimedia projects. iPads will
be provided.

Video Games: Behind the Scenes
(Grades 4-6)
Do you like video games Have you ever wanted
to make your own Then this camp is for you!
Learn how to make your first video game in this
camp for kids. Kids will be designing games on par
with Nintendo and Super Nintendo! Please bring
your own flash drive.

Tech Savvy in the Real World
(Grades 7-9)
Learn how to utilize computer applications and
online systems to e-communicate in college
life and in business. Practice using the college
software “Blackboard” and get a step ahead of the
competition. Navigate the online world to build
confidence in your computer repertoire.

Helpful Information
Transportation
Transportation will be made available from predetermined
centralized stops for participating
students. Transportation from the students’ place
of residence to the centralized bus stop will be the
responsibility of the parent/guardian. Students’
will be provided centralized bus stop locations and
pick-up time schedule prior to the start of Summer
Camp.

Age Appropriateness
Camps are designed for students entering the
grades listed. Courses are designed to be age
appropriate and coincide with all socialization
aspects of the program.
Sunscreen
Campers registering for Sport camps will be
outside. To be prepared for the sun, apply
sunscreen every morning before coming to camp.
Cancellations/Refunds
Refund and/or transfer requests must be made
prior to the Wednesday before camp. Please note
that refunds for payments made by check may
take a minimum of four weeks to process.
Clothing
Students should dress appropriately for the
camp that they will attend. Class descriptions will
provide the necessary requirements.
Electronic Devices
Campers should NOT bring electronic devices.
Delaware Tech or Woodbridge School District will
not be responsible for any lost, broken or stolen
property. Please do not bring a cell phone.
Emergency Procedures
Woodbridge will follow the same emergency
procedures as during the School Year. Please have
campers follow the instructions of their teacher.
Check-In/Check-Out Policy
Parents/Guardians must sign their children in
and out each day and provide us with their most
current emergency contact number. If not a parent/
guardian, parents must provide the name of the
person checking the child in/out. Identification will
be required. It is the responsibility of the parent to
be on time to pick up your child. If you are more
than 15 minutes late for pickup, there will be a $10
late charge added to your account.
Medical Procedures
Each camper is required to have personal medical
coverage and accident insurance. Delaware
Tech or Woodbridge School District does not
provide this coverage. Parents will be informed
immediately in the event of an emergency.
The parent will be responsible for picking up
the camper and determining if further medical
attention is necessary. In case of an emergency
requiring immediate medical attention, camp staff
is required to: make the child comfortable, call for
an ambulance, and notify the parent and camp
manager who will accompany child to hospital.
Problem Management Procedures
Discipline problems will be addressed in the
following manner: Behavioral problems will be
handled by the camp manager. If the problem
persists, the parent will be notified. If the problem
continues to exist, the camper will be dismissed
from camp and will not be permitted to return.
Refunds will not be granted if campers are
dismissed from camp. Automatic dismissal from
camp may occur at the camp manager’s discretion.

hold the Delaware Technical Community College and Woodbridge School District, their trustees, employees

I understand that I am fully responsible for any and all losses or damages that my child inflicts upon any
