OEF / OIF / OND Program Office Women Veterans Program
The St. Cloud VA Operation Enduring
Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom/
Operation New Dawn Program is designed
to serve returning combat Veterans and
their families. To date approximately
4,358 OEF/OIF/OND Veterans have
enrolled with St. Cloud VA HCS.
The St. Cloud VA Health Care System’s Women
Veterans Program enhances services to women
Veterans, provides access to high‐quality health
care and provides comprehensive primary and
gender‐specific care for women Veterans. The
number of female Veterans enrolled with the
St. Cloud VA HCS is 2,135 and growing.
Homeless Veterans Program
In 2010 the St. Cloud VA HCS received an official
Health Care for Homeless Veterans Program
designation. In support of the VA’s mission to
end homelessness among America’s Veterans
by 2014, we are expanding services. Our efforts
are focused on the following programs:
�� Veterans Justice Outreach: We are actively collaborating with the 8th District Court to create the nation's first
Rural Veterans Court.
�� Homeless Call Center: Connects homeless Veterans with local resources to meet the Veteran’s needs.
�� Contract Residential Bed: Seeks to address the needs of the most vulnerable and at‐risk homeless Veterans by
providing housing and support for up to 6 months.
�� Housing and Urban Development/VA Supported Housing Program: Helps homeless Veterans secure apartments
in the community by helping to pay rent and providing support services.
�� Homeless Outreach: Focuses efforts to identify and contact homeless Veterans to improve access to services.
�� Homeless Re‐entry Program: Provides support to incarcerated Veterans as they re‐enter the community.
�� Grant and Per Diem Program: Offers two years of housing support to achieve residential stability, increase skills
and/or income, and obtain greater self‐determination.
