Holiday Absence Requests
Registering absence for the purpose of a
family holiday or approval of an educational
activity/event.
From January 2011 we have updated our
Holiday form to include a parents’ request for
a child to attend and activity or event.
Guidance on what constitutes an approved
activity is indicated on the new form, which is
green and replaces the yellow holiday form.
In short, if you wish to request absence for
your son/daughter other than a medical
appointment, please complete a Request for
Authorised Absence in Term Time for
Holiday or Approved Activity form. These
are available from Reception for a parent to
collect or from Student Support for students to
bring home.

can be found on the Oathall website. Copies
in the form of an information leaflet are
available from Reception on request.
